Villa Riviera: A Celebration with Views Over Portofino

Artemiy is a successful video blogger whose car reviews, model comparisons, and expert insights have long been a reference point for thousands of followers on YouTube. Technical, rational, passionate — this is how his audience knows him.

Fate brought him to Victoria in the most unexpected way — through an online game, where she revealed herself not as a delicate girl but as a true fighter: precise, bold, and decisive. Her character, confidence, and ability to play on equal terms with men impressed Artemiy so much that he wanted to meet her in real life. This is how their story began — light, vibrant, and wonderfully modern.

Why Italy? And Why Liguria?

At first, Artemiy and Victoria planned to have their wedding in Moscow. But then they thought, why not move the celebration to Italy? Many of their guests had never visited the country, and the couple wanted to give them a true sense of discovery — a “wow effect” filled with beauty, atmosphere, and emotion.

They were dreaming of something sunny, coastal, and picturesque — Italy, but in a way that felt different and unusual. That is how they discovered Liguria: seascapes that look as if painted by an artist, and the region’s famous cuisine with focaccia, fresh seafood, and its legendary pesto.

The spirit of Liguria is all about summer, freedom, sunshine, and breathtaking views. It was here that the couple found their perfect location — a villa on the coast overlooking Portofino, where they stayed with their guests for three days, creating a true wedding weekend.

A Civil Ceremony in Italy — A Meaningful and Symbolic Step

The couple decided that if their wedding was taking place in Italy, then the stamp in their passports should reflect that as well. Artemiy and Victoria’s wedding morning began with an official civil ceremony at an Italian town hall. An intimate moment, the signing of documents, smiles, emotions… and suddenly they were husband and wife under Italian law.

Return to the Villa and Getting Ready

After the civil ceremony, the couple returned to the villa, and the preparations for the main celebration began.

Victoria had a photo session with her bridesmaids and her beloved dog, Richie — the true star of the day. Richie posed, ran around, slipped into every frame, and added that warm, lively emotion to the bride’s morning that simply cannot be recreated.

The groom was getting ready with his brothers — sharp suits, laughter, anticipation, and support. And, of course, Richie, who managed to be everywhere at once, taking part in absolutely every moment.

A Villa Ceremony Overlooking the Coast

We designed the ceremony area to make the guests feel as if they were sitting in a theater, with the bride and groom as the central characters. Accompanied by live piano music, Artemiy was the first to walk out, followed by Victoria. This was their first look — they had intentionally chosen not to see each other beforehand. The emotional impact was even stronger because of it: Artemiy’s gaze filled with admiration and tenderness the moment he saw his bride in her white dress.

The couple exchanged rings, received congratulations from their guests, and the official part seamlessly transitioned into a beautiful photo session. The villa’s grounds are wonderfully diverse, which allowed us to capture both classic portraits and dramatic drone shots.

While the newlyweds were taking photos, the guests enjoyed an aperitivo on the terrace. For many of them, visiting Italy for the first time, this moment felt truly magical — a blend of flavors, sunshine, and sea breeze that created unforgettable emotions. Guests could not only savor the food but also make their own small keepsake from the wedding: there was a photo booth, a 360 camera, and an artist creating colorful portraits as souvenirs.

Dinner Under the Stars: Candlelight, Music, and Emotion

As the sun dipped below the horizon and the lights of Portofino began to shimmer, the atmosphere turned truly magical. During dinner, guests enjoyed not only Italian music but also heartfelt toasts and words of gratitude. After the cake cutting, the party moved to the dance floor, where the celebration continued until three in the morning — the perfect finale to a perfect wedding day.

Pesto Party: A Seaside Celebration Continues

The day after the wedding, following a leisurely lunch, everyone gathered for a seaside party — relaxed, joyful, and filled with sunshine. Guests could swim in the sea or the pool, sunbathe, unwind, and enjoy each other’s company. A live band once again brought the atmosphere to life, moving between the tables and performing beloved Italian songs.

We organized a special activity for the guests — a pesto-making workshop, since Liguria is the birthplace of this iconic sauce. Pesto is more than just something green and flavorful. It is a symbol of the region. The guests learned to prepare it the traditional way, by hand, following the classic recipe. And of course, the experience ended with a serving of pasta dressed in their freshly made pesto.

Artemiy and Victoria’s wedding was filled with sunshine, music, the sea, the flavors of Liguria, and emotions impossible to forget.

“We wanted it to be something exceptional… a journey for each of you!”

The perfect place for a wedding: where is it and what is it like? Every couple will choose something different. Yet sometimes a place seems to be waiting in advance for people whose spirit and mood echo its own. This is what happened with Justina and Albert, two surgeons whose lives unfold under operating lights and through endless shifts. Their work as an orthopedic surgeon and a plastic surgeon takes up most of their time. Each week they carve out a few evening hours for a family dinner. This time is their small island of calm amid the pace of the city and the demands of their careers. For this reason they value silence, open space and nature where they can briefly stop being doctors and become simply two people again.

Their first date took place in the mountains.

Justina is from Kazan. Albert is from Moscow. Two cities, two parallel lines that did not cross for a long time, until one day mutual acquaintances suggested that they should meet. Their light and warm messages led them to decide to see each other somewhere in the middle.

This is how they chose Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi. There, with mountain slopes behind them and a romantic candlelit dinner in front of them, they saw each other for the first time.

That date became the beginning of their travels together: Europe, different cities, seas, and once again the mountains. Later came a proposal in the Maldives, and from that moment the couple began to wonder where the perfect place for their wedding might be.

Why Italy became their choice

They considered Moscow and Kazan, their hometowns with the people closest to them. But the more they thought about it, the clearer it became: their wedding should not be about obligations, but about intimacy. About those with whom you truly want to share this day.

Italy matched this feeling perfectly. For them, “Italian style” was not about flashy décor or trying to impress anyone. It was about heartfelt warmth: when everyone at the table feels like family, when laughter flows freely between glasses, and when the beauty around you is created by nature itself.

Albert confessed to us in confidence that architecture has never really moved him. Neither the cathedrals nor the squares of beautiful Florence or majestic Rome can replace the simple landscape he loves: water and mountains. Justina felt the same. Nature is their element — the one in which they first met and the one in which they wanted to celebrate their most important moment.

Villa Bella Vista on Lake Como became the perfect place for their wedding. Its sweeping view is mesmerizing, and it feels as if the lake opens its arms just for you. This is exactly what they had been searching for.

A wedding weekend on Lake Como

The celebration was intimate, with only the closest people present and two days filled with simple yet heartfelt moments.

The guests gathered at the villa for a pre wedding dinner. Justina and Albert wanted this evening to feel less like a formality and more like the continuation of a family that naturally forms around them. Relatives and close colleagues met one another and talked about the details of the day to come.

The wedding day began with breakfast and the stylists working on the looks of the bride and her bridesmaids. The ceremony took place on a panoramic terrace. It felt as though the world below had paused in anticipation of something extraordinary. Accompanied by a violin and with a breathtaking view around them, they made their vows of love and devotion.

After the congratulations the newlyweds went for a boat ride on the lake while the guests stayed to enjoy the aperitif. Upon their return Justina and Albert opened the dinner with their first dance and then spent the evening surrounded by the people closest to them. As tradition would have it the celebration ended with dancing.

Thank you for your trust

Distance had always been a part of their relationship: work, the miles between their cities, schedules that rarely aligned. Perhaps this is why it was especially important for them to find people they could trust to plan a wedding from afar.

Justina admitted that she had spent a long time studying our Instagram, reading reviews and looking through past projects. But the decision came at the moment they first spoke with our team and realised that they had found the planners who felt right for them.

Anna and Denis: Love for Dogs is a Must

Organizing a wedding with 20 guests and 2 dogs at Lake Como – this was the task Denis and Anna set for us. On their big day, they wanted to be surrounded by their family, friends, and pets. And unlike many couples who prefer to spend as much time alone as possible on their wedding day, our couple asked us to organize everything so that they would almost never be apart from their guests.

The couple traditionally spent the morning of their wedding day separately. Anna had a bachelorette party with her friends and two adorable dogs on the terrace of her room, while Denis said goodbye to his bachelor life with his parents and friends.

After the bachelorette and bachelor parties, three boats departed from the dock of Villa Armonia, with a short break, heading towards Villa Monastero. The first two boats carried the groom, guests, and dogs. The third boat carried the bride and her best friend. Anna wanted to truly experience the moment and feel that right now, in that very moment, she was sailing to her own wedding, cutting through the waters of Lake Como.

It was very important for our bride that no one saw her dress until the very last moment, so we had to take all possible precautions and hide the bride from everyone to keep her dress a secret until the ceremony.

At Villa Monastero, preparations were in full swing. Our florists were finishing decorating the open terrace where the ceremony would take place. The municipal representative from Varenna was expected to arrive any minute. By the time the boats with the groom and guests arrived, all the final preparations were complete. Guests were escorted to the ceremony site and seated. Everything was ready, and everyone was holding their breath waiting for Anna’s appearance.

Anna, in her stunning white dress, was escorted to the altar by the groom’s father. Everything turned out just as she had imagined – a dramatic entrance, guests whispering in admiration, and of course – the loving eyes of her beloved!

The official ceremony took place on a balcony with a view of Lake Como and the mountains. The idyllic scene was complemented by the sound of the harp – one of the most romantic instruments.

Usually, after the ceremony, congratulations, and group photos with loved ones, the newlyweds and photographer head to a beautiful location, leaving guests to enjoy a traditional Italian aperitivo. But not this time! Denis and Anna wanted to spend as much time as possible with their family and friends. After a 20-minute wedding photo session, they all went on a guided tour of the villa and park!

After the tour, boats returned to pick up the newlyweds and their guests. The first two boats carried Denis’ parents and the couple’s friends with their furry companions. The third boat carried the newlyweds and the photographer – one of those rare moments when they were alone, making romantic photos, enjoying the beautiful views, and sipping prosecco with light snacks.

When everyone returned to Villa Armonia, guests went to freshen up, and Anna and Denis went to change for the wedding dinner. Tables were set on the open terrace overlooking Lake Como and the mountains.

Candles, grapes entwined with pearls, large pink and white callas, daisies and spathiphyllum, fruit decorated with sparkling pearls – the festive table looked both delicate and luxurious at the same time.

The decoration of all wedding locations: the balcony at Villa Monastero, the boat the newlyweds sailed on, the terrace of Villa Armonia, and even the bride’s bouquet – everything was done in a unified style.

It all started easily and very Italian – with an aperitif for the guests. While Anna and Denis were preparing to head out, guests could mingle, write congratulatory messages to the couple, sign postcards that would later be sent through the mail of Italy, or take instant snapshots on a Polaroid camera. A special space was designated for these activities in the aperitif area.

For dinner, Anna chose a short dress with a large bow, and Denis opted for casual jeans and a white shirt.

And when it was time to cut the wedding cake, guests got a real surprise! Instead of the usual three-tiered cake with bride and groom figurines on top, waiters brought out… a white rectangle! It came with a pastry bag filled with chocolate cream – so everyone could write sweet congratulations to the newlyweds directly on the cake!

We then asked all the guests to gather around the cake table, and at that moment, the newlyweds appeared on the terrace, holding hands. And suddenly Anna’s dress lit up with a thousand lights, transforming her into a fairytale princess! It was a complete surprise to everyone, including Denis!

At the end of the evening, Anna and Denis gave their loved ones memorable gifts. The bomboniere, containing small bottles of olive oil, jars of Italian spices, and candies, were decorated with a label featuring views of Como, the couple’s names, and the date – August 22, 2024.

The celebration continued with energetic dancing to tracks by the guest DJ. (There was even a bit of “Ruki Vverh!” and classic Russian dance music!) And the coolest dancer on the floor? The groom’s mom!

The day after the wedding, the newlyweds embarked on a road trip through one of Italy’s most picturesque and “tasty” regions – Tuscany. And of course, their beloved dogs came along to explore the Bel Paese.

Girls, good night🌸 we just got home and the rest of our trip we kept recalling our beautiful wedding 😭💔💔🫶🏻 Guests are still in awe! They can’t stop writing about how beautiful and wonderfully organized everything was, how great the organizers were! I’m glad that Denis found you, you’re superhero fairies!🫶🏻 Some couples even asked for your contact, and we shared it without hesitation!))

Villa Melzi: When Your Dream Comes True

Event planner: @wowitaly_events

For Tatyana and Danila, celebration and emotion are part of their profession. She is a model and performer who takes part in shows, he is a producer who creates these events. They met at the anniversary concert of Philipp Kirkorov, and from that evening their story began to unfold like a film.

When their relationship was just beginning, Tatyana left for Milan on a contract. Danila flew to see her, and together they went to Lake Como, to the town of Lecco. This is where their love story was born. Some time later Danila proposed in Dubai. At first the couple planned to register their marriage there, yet Tatyana could not let go of her long held dream of a wedding in Italy.

From a long-held dream to reality

For Tatyana, Milan is a special place. Her modelling work often brought her there, and once, during a trip to Lake Como, she realised it was love at first sight. Back in 2017–2018 she promised herself that one day her wedding would happen exactly here.

After the proposal the couple considered organising their wedding in Dubai, but fate stepped in. On Instagram Tatyana came across our post about a couple who had celebrated their wedding on Lake Como. She showed it to Danila and he supported the idea immediately. After a brief exchange with us all the decisions were made in just a few days.

“It was frightening to come so close to a dream,” Tatyana admits. “It seemed almost too beautiful to be true.”

A dream under threat

The preparations went smoothly and with inspiration. The bride’s mood board had been ready long before — Tatyana knew exactly what she wanted. An elegant, intimate wedding for two, a boat ride and a photoshoot at a villa. Everything had to be simple yet full of atmosphere.

But just a few days before the wedding the forecast changed dramatically. Heavy rain and almost hurricane level winds were predicted. Anyone familiar with Lake Como knows that it is breathtakingly beautiful, yet the weather can shift in an instant. By Tuesday morning we knew for certain that we could not hold the wedding on Thursday if we kept the original plan. In less than twenty four hours we managed to do the impossible: reschedule everything — the stylist, the photographer, the boat and even the town hall, since this was an official civil ceremony.

Dreams are meant to come true!

The ceremony took place in a park to the sound of a harp, tender, solemn and beautifully Italian. For their loved ones in Russia we arranged a live Zoom broadcast so their families could witness every moment and congratulate the couple in real time.

After the ceremony the newlyweds went to Villa Melzi for a photoshoot and then set off on a romantic boat ride across the lake. Tatyana’s sister had ordered a basket of Italian delicacies for a picnic on the boat, and her parents prepared a video message. These touching surprises made the day deeply personal and warm. The weather played with us throughout the day. Light rain shifted to sunshine and back again, creating a very special atmosphere. The photographs turned out beautifully expressive.

Heavy rain began in the evening and lasted all through the next day. It feels wonderful to know that we did everything possible to make this dream come true:

“The way you cared about our wedding and our happiness means so much to us. Thank you for that. Despite everything we all made it happen and our dream came true. This day became the starting point of a long and happy journey in our life together. Thank you.”

Thank you so much for your trust and for such a warm review

Official Wedding in Italy

Margot and Matthew: An Elegant Wedding at a Historic Villa Near Rome

Margot and Matthew, a charming couple from England, decided to get married. Margot leaned towards an intimate ceremony for just the two of them in a secret, romantic location. However, Matthew always dreamed of a large wedding celebration with family and friends.

The bride found a compromise with the groom: “If we are doing this on a large scale, I want my dream wedding, and my dream wedding can only be in Italy with its stunning nature, delicious food, and atmosphere!” Margot and Matthew are both deeply in love with each other and with Italy, so there was no doubt left about the location and how everything should unfold. The team of professionals from WowItaly brought their vision of an elegant and refined celebration in Italy with their family and friends to life.

The Proposal

As the bride recalls, in August 2021, six months before the proposal, she and Matthew attended the wedding of his cousin in Liverpool. It was at that moment, watching the genuine happiness of the newlyweds and the celebration they had created for themselves and their guests, that Margot wanted her own wedding. While watching the event, she told Matthew that she wanted to be his wife, and he replied that, of course, he would marry her. At that moment, there was no official proposal, but that’s when everything began – the first thoughts about the wedding and what it could be like.

As Christmas approached, the couple debated where to go for the weekend. They chose Paris, where Matthew booked Margot’s favorite restaurant. During dinner, he briefly stepped away, and when he returned, he ordered two glasses of champagne. The musicians began to play the couple’s favorite song, “Only Love” by Ben Howard (which was unexpected because it’s not a widely popular song). The bride was surprised and didn’t understand what was happening. It became clear when… Matthew knelt down and asked the famous question! As Margot describes her feelings, she was on cloud nine – the moment was so touching and romantic.

Wedding Venue

For their wedding, Margot and Matthew chose a truly unique location, full of history and natural charm. The 17th-century Villa del Cardinale was owned by Cardinal Flavio Chigi and served as a residence for several prominent figures over the centuries. The villa is located 30 kilometers from the center of Rome along the ancient Appian Way, in the historic reserve of “Roman Castles” (Castelli Romani), surrounded by the green Alban Hills of volcanic origin. From here, there is a breathtaking panoramic view of the pristine blue surface of Lake Albano. The villa had a real wow-effect on the bride, groom, and their guests because it’s a true hidden gem in a highly visited tourist area.

In ancient times, the Roman nobility enjoyed resting at Lake Albano. The popes also chose Albano for their summer retreats to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. It was in the summer residence of the popes, Castel Gandolfo, that Matthew and his “team” of friends and relatives began the wedding day.

At the same time, the bride arrived at Villa del Cardinale to prepare traditionally for the meeting with the groom and present herself to him in all the magnificence of her wedding look. Here, it’s worth making a small detour and talking a bit about the color concept and wedding dress, which supported the overall elegant wedding style – with touches of glamour and refinement.

Color Concept and Decor

Pure white, soft pink, various shades of natural stone, and gold – the location itself, harmoniously blending nature and human creation, dictated the choice of natural colors and tones. There was no need for excessive decoration or embellishment of the area – only delicate peony roses in pastel pink complemented the surrounding beauty. These roses were chosen also because they matched the color scheme of the bridesmaids’ dresses. Margot didn’t want pure white to be the main color of the wedding – she wanted to add a color accent, but not something too bold that would overshadow the other colors, and in the end, it turned out very fresh, stylish, and modern.

And the soft golden light was provided by Italy itself and its generous sun during the sunset, which was simply stunning that day. As the bride later admitted, she will never forget that sunset on the terrace and how she and Matthew, along with their guests, danced in its soft golden rays.

Wedding Looks

The bride had two dresses – one for the ceremony and photo shoot, and another for the active program and dancing.

The first dress was custom-made by the Italian brand Milla Nova. Margot didn’t take long to choose – it was only the second dress she tried on, and it was love at first sight! The smooth material, long luxurious train, and open shoulders resembled royal attire. Margot completed the look with pearl-embellished gloves, a Dior necklace and earrings, and elegant white shoes from Prada with a neat flower detail. In late May, Lake Albano enjoys active sun, so Margot added Prada “cat-eye” sunglasses as a necessary accessory.

The second dress was bought in Ireland and also custom-made. If the first dress was “a queen’s dress,” the second one could be worn by a princess. With a structured corset, subtle shimmer, and open shoulders – this dress was airy, romantic, and sensual, yet very comfortable as the bride would be dancing in it during the second part of the celebration.

The groom matched his bride perfectly. Matthew wore a perfect black tuxedo, custom-made by an Irish designer using high-quality Italian materials.

Bridesmaids’ Dresses

Typically, a single style is chosen for the bridesmaids, and often this style suits some, but not others – people are different, with different body types. Margot took a different approach – each bridesmaid could choose a dress that suited her, with the only important condition being the color. The bridesmaids wore dresses they loved, which flattered their body types, and in the photos and videos, they all looked harmonious thanks to the unified color scheme.

Interestingly, one of the bridesmaids was Matthew’s mother, Jackie. Margot’s mother passed away eight years ago, so she invited Jackie to share the wedding morning with her. This brought them closer and became one of the touching moments they’ll surely remember.

Wedding Ceremony

The official ceremony, after which Margot and Matthew could call each other husband and wife, took place in the villa’s amphitheater, reminding of the ancient roots of the place. During the exchange of vows, something no one could plan happened – rain with thunder! According to superstition, rain during a wedding is a sign of a long, happy, and prosperous marriage, so it felt like a blessing from above.

As Margot believes, the wedding day should not be perfect and predictable, repeating a pre-planned schedule down to the last detail. True magic happens in spontaneous moments, in feelings here and now, in emotions and surprises. Yes, on Margot and Matthew’s wedding, it rained, but then came an amazing golden sunset. Just like in life, where there are ups and downs, joys, and struggles. It’s those moments that make the wedding day unique and special, YOUR day, which stays in your hearts and memories.

Margot and Matthew wedding at a historic villa on Lake Albano

Continuing the theme of surprises: the bride remembered the moment when she received a magnificent bouquet of soft pink peonies from Matthew in the morning. The entire wedding day script was known to her, she knew everything that was supposed to happen that day (except, of course, the whims of the weather), except for one thing – this bouquet, which included a card with a photo of their couple. In it, Matthew wrote incredibly touching and romantic words intended only for Margot. A small surprise, which became an important and special touch to the whole wedding day.

Food and Drinks

Pancakes stuffed with shrimp and fish stew, tonnarelli pasta with white mushrooms and truffle, fruit assortments, and desserts with prosecco – what could be better for a wedding buffet in Italian style?

The wedding cake was in the style and color scheme of the wedding – classic white, minimally decorated with roses. The couple loves pistachio cream, so the cake was filled with a delightful pistachio-flavored cream.

Tips from Margot for Brides

First: Do it the way YOU and your partner want! Don’t listen to anyone, try to avoid meeting others’ expectations. On this day, your family and friends will be with you, but you can’t please everyone. Remember, it’s your day, so make it the way you want it to be.

Second tip: Find yourself a therapist. No joke, I believe every bride needs psychological support. Just talk to your therapist about your worries and anxieties. Personally, it helped me a lot, especially in the last months of preparation.

Also, find a reliable wedding planner. It’s the best investment you can make because all the organizational worries are transferred to the professionals. Even if something goes wrong, they’ll help sort things out without involving you.

Be sure to discuss how everything will unfold with your partner, let him also be involved in the planning and discussion. Remember, a wedding is primarily a celebration for both of you.

I enjoyed every moment of my wedding day, where everything was perfect and exactly how we wanted it: the flowers, the cake, the fireworks, even the rain. Every tiny detail was special, because it was OUR day.

Official Wedding in Italy

Maria and Shamil: A Soulful Wedding with Guests at Lake Como

What should a dream wedding be like? Every couple has their own answer to this question. Maria and Shamil had no doubt – this event, the memories of which are worth sharing with the closest and dearest people. Surrounded by family and loved ones, all the joys and impressions of the wedding day become even brighter and stronger.

The second question, which is crucial for realizing a dream wedding, is of course the venue. For Maria, the perfect place was Italy. She had never visited the country before, but she imagined how it might be – bathed in sunlight and the carefree life of the south. Small cozy houses surrounded by vineyards, and locals enjoying dolce vita with delicious pasta and fragrant wine…

Maria and Shamil wedding with guests at Lake Como

Maria and Shamil wedding with guests at Lake Como

Shamil just supported his fiancée’s choice. While visiting Verona and Rome and walking through their ancient streets, he was impressed by the grandeur of the ancient architecture and the elegance of Renaissance buildings. There was no doubt – Italy!

But where exactly in Italy? Maria and Shamil chose Lake Como – the best option for an elegant and stylish wedding. Many global celebrities and red carpet stars prefer Como with its clear blue waters, lush vegetation, and charming villas scattered along the shoreline. This is a classic that will forever remain timeless and unaffected by fleeting trends. To realize their dream, the couple turned to WowItaly – an agency based in Italy that can coordinate and supervise contractors directly on-site.

How They Met

Maria and Shamil met at university: Maria was the group leader in the class to which Shamil transferred. They started communicating as classmates but soon discovered many things in common beyond university life. Books, TV shows, walks, joint visits to museums and cafes… One of their memorable dates was when they sang “Batareyka” under the guitar at 5 a.m. by Chistye Prudy, and it was incredibly romantic!

Thus, the university crush blossomed into a real and deep love that finally united them on October 10, 2023, at Lake Como.

Wedding Style and Color Concept

The couple chose an elegant and classic wedding style. The decoration followed minimalism and clean lines, with exquisite but not ostentatious decor. At the same time, Maria and Shamil didn’t want the celebration to be too formal. This was a celebration for the couple and their loved ones, so it had to be warm, soulful, and cozy.

The wedding color scheme featured soft pastel tones. The accent color was Maria and Shamil’s favorite blue – the color of trust, wisdom, confidence, and harmony. All these concepts are at the heart of a happy marriage. And blue is also the national color of Italy (along with the colors of the flag), which it adopted after the unification of the country.

Venue

Maria and Shamil’s wedding took place at the four-star boutique hotel Villa Verde. This venue offers everything for a luxurious and elegant wedding with guests: tastefully decorated rooms, an interior fit for the stars (no wonder George and Amal Clooney stay here), a private pool to relax in on a hot day, and a unique feature – four panoramic terraces. Each of them offers an unforgettable view of the lake.

Wedding Ceremony

The terrace at Villa Verde, reminiscent of a green house full of plants and flowers, served as a beautiful backdrop for Maria and Shamil’s wedding ceremony. The couple’s impeccable taste was evident in every detail – roses in soft ivory and pastel pink shades were used to decorate the flower arch, complementing the existing green decor.

Right there, on the lush green terrace, the municipal representative officially married Maria and Shamil according to the laws of the Republic of Italy. Yes, now their passports with the stamp “Lallio”, where the marriage was registered, will become a “family landmark”!

The ceremony itself was incredibly touching and romantic. First, the groom came out to the guests and handed bouquets to the mothers. Then came Shamil’s younger sister, Leia, in a charming deep blue dress. The girl scattered rose petals along the bride’s path. Finally, to the song “Your Song” by Elton John, Maria appeared, stunning in her designer asymmetric dress. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father.

After the official speech from the municipal representative, Leia and Nikita (Maria’s younger brother) carried the rings to the tune of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley. Maria and Shamil, not holding back their tears of joy and happiness, exchanged vows and rings to the incredibly gentle and romantic melody “River Flows In You”. Their first dance was to the beloved song of all loving hearts – “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.

The musical accompaniment deserves special mention. Charming young women played classical instruments – the harp and violin, setting a unique tone for the entire ceremony.

Maria and Shamil wedding with guests at Lake Como

Photo Session and Wedding Dinner

In keeping with the classic tradition on Lake Como, the newlyweds and their guests took a boat ride on the lake. Here, they could admire the picturesque surroundings, chat, drink sparkling wine, have fun, and simply enjoy the moment. Very Italian! And Maria and Shamil, of course, enjoyed each other and their happiness, now that they were officially husband and wife.

The wedding dinner was held in a stylish 19th-century boutique hotel. The enchanting views of the opposite shore, the lit-up lights, and their loved ones close by – what more could one need for happiness?

Guests were treated to a light entertainment program with a fun lottery from the newlyweds and, of course, delicious Italian food. A touching moment was the dance – Maria with her father and Shamil with his mother.

At the end of the evening, Maria and Shamil cut the cake, and after the disco, all guests were handed bomboniere, sweet gifts that would remind them of this warm October day.

And it was truly an amazing day! Full of emotions, bright, magical, and dream-fulfilling! Maria and Shamil’s wedding was exactly what they both dreamed of – solemn and soulful, elegant and familiarly warm. Here’s what Maria herself says about her impressions:

Marina, we’ve seen the photos, and they’re just 🔥 We were right back in the wedding atmosphere, everything was so warm, so soulful, without any flaws❤️ Thank you so much to you and the whole team for creating such a fairy tale for us, it was the wedding of our dreams🥰

Anna and Egor: A Stylish Wedding with Guests at Lake Como

All weddings are similar in that they are celebrations that unite two loving hearts. A white dress, flowers, vows, the shining eyes of the loved one in front of you. Yet every wedding is unique in its own way. What if we combine timeless classics and elegance with hints of humor and fun? The wedding of our heroes, Anna and Egor, definitely wasn’t standard – perhaps no one had done this before at Lake Como.

Their story began with chance meetings at university. Anna and Egor were studying in different courses, they occasionally saw each other but didn’t communicate and didn’t know each other closely. To Anna, Egor didn’t stand out amidst university life, but to him, from the first glance at the beautiful, statuesque girl, he thought: “Maybe this is the one!”

Time passed, and Egor and Anna moved to different cities. But it seems fate had plans for them to be together. Years passed, they both returned to their hometown, Rostov, and met again. Looking at each other in a new light, Anna and Egor found what they had been searching for – love. And since then, they have never parted.

Anna and Egor wedding at Lake Como

After the proposal, the time of preparation and anticipation began. Anna is one of those brides who has a clear vision of what her wedding should be. She created a moodboard (from English “moodboard”) of inspiring images, where the contours of the future celebration began to take shape.

There was no doubt about the location. Lake Como is the very embodiment of romance and elegance, and couples from all over the world choose it. Another dream – the historic Villa Balbianello, where the famous kissing scene between Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala was filmed. For the realization of the dream, Anna turned to WowItaly, a team of professionals based in Italy who have organized many weddings in the most beautiful locations of the Italian “boot”.

All the dates at Villa Balbianello were booked months in advance, and only one suitable free date remained – October 19. Yes, there was a risk of rain, as October is the rainy season in Como. But dreams must come true, regardless of the weather and any other circumstances!

A luxurious five-star Grand Hotel Tremezzo was also booked, offering stunning views of the lake. This is not just an ordinary hotel, but a real palace, built in the early 20th century. The elegant interiors of the hotel were the setting for Anna and Egor’s wedding morning photo session.

Bridal Look

Anna wanted her wedding to be the embodiment of a dream, a bit childish and naive, yet pure and inspiringly beautiful. A dress in which she would feel like a princess – of course, from Vera Wang. Classic “wedding” shoes – from Manolo Blahnik. The second look for the wedding ceremony at the town hall of Bellagio – a stylish pantsuit. The third – a figure-hugging dress, embroidered with pink sequins, in which Anna resembled a mermaid slipping out of the waters of Lake Como.

Wedding Ceremony

The stamps in Anna and Egor’s passports say “Republic of Italy”. On October 19, 2023, they officially became husband and wife at the town hall of Bellagio, in the presence of family and friends. The ceremony was conducted in Italian with a translation into Russian – the couple’s native language.

Anna and Egor listened to excerpts from the Italian family code. The solemn Si! (“Yes”) was spoken to all the questions from the town hall official. The bride and groom vowed to love each other and care for each other “in sickness and in health, in wealth and in poverty”. According to Italian tradition, Anna and Egor kissed the rings before the exchange, and after the ceremony, their friends and family showered them with rice and flower petals – for a long and happy married life.

There was also an unofficial ceremony – that special “touch” that distinguished Anna and Egor’s wedding from others. Perhaps Lake Como had never heard such wedding speeches! Anna’s friend delivered a speech, solemn and pompous, like a registrar with years of experience, sending the “ship of love” on its route to fidelity and happiness. The couple’s friends brought wedding banners with classic wedding slogans. This made everyone laugh and loosen up, as Como is a completely different style of wedding!

Wedding Dinner

For dinner, the couple and their guests returned to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, where they were given a private room with exquisite interiors. Without exaggeration, the decor overwhelmed with luxury and thoughtful details, and the overall atmosphere resembled the royal dinners of French kings.

Anna wrote personal letters to the guests, recalling all the significant moments and thanking them for sharing the joy of this special day with her. The guests couldn’t hold back tears while reading these letters!

The couple’s friends made a wonderful musical gift – a performance by a famous band from San Remo. And the dinner itself was warm and relaxed.

Looking at the photos by renowned photographer Roman Ivanov, who captured the moments of this day at Lake Como, you notice the love, tenderness, and “chemistry” that is present between Anna and Egor. The weather’s caprices prevented them from fully enjoying the outdoor walks and photo session. Nevertheless – this is Anna and Egor’s day, unique and special, just like they are. And it gave them wonderful memories that will stay with them and their loved ones for a lifetime.

And the professional team that will lift your spirits. Thank you for creating such a beautiful celebration for us! Everything was thought out down to the smallest detail! Even heel protectors were provided! Thank you for your help during the event! I never thought that such a celebration could be organized remotely.I’d love to have another wedding!!

Tuscany Villa: Overcoming Every Challenge for a Dream Wedding

Official Wedding in Italy

Evgeniya and Ilia. A Wedding at a Villa in Tuscany. Overcoming All Challenges for a Dream

Evgeniya and Ilia, a wonderful couple from Russia, chose perhaps the most picturesque part of Italy for their wedding – Tuscany. Its landscapes, with fields stretching into the distance and cypress groves, are recognizable at first sight.

An official ceremony at a villa and a small family dinner were planned. We began discussing the details and preparing the necessary documents six months before the event. Usually, this amount of time is sufficient to do everything without haste – just the way Italians prefer to work 😊.

The outgoing wedding year of 2022 turned out to be quite intense. Emotional ups and downs from everything happening in the world were felt by both the newlyweds and the organizers. We faced challenges that we never even imagined. First, currency transfers were restricted, and then completely banned. The couple had problems with paying for the villa, and we had to look for alternative options. In the end, it was all worth it – the place we booked turned out to be amazing.

Our manager, Marina, found this villa back in the middle of the pandemic. And finally, we managed to organize the wedding there. The villa, in the traditional style of the region, is located on a hill and literally surrounded by greenery. It’s hard to imagine a more Tuscan location.

Initially, Evgeniya and Ilia wanted a small ceremony with just their closest family and friends. We had everything ready for a wedding with 8 people, but two weeks before the event, circumstances changed. The parents, and even the newlyweds themselves, had difficulties with flying out of Russia. We had to change the entire guest list at the last moment. Instead of the planned 8 guests, there were 14 – the couple invited friends who live in Europe and could easily travel. These seemed like small changes, but during peak wedding season in Italy, they were critical.

The newlyweds had booked the historical villa for small ceremonies up to 10 people. Increasing the guest count almost doubled required drastic changes. The villa didn’t have enough furniture and tableware for that number of guests. Finding everything necessary in double size in just one week was almost impossible, not to mention agreeing to these changes with the villa. Italians generally don’t like last-minute changes. They plan weddings at least a year or two in advance, and contractors are used to working slowly. But we didn’t give up: we found everything, persuaded everyone! Helping dreams come true is our favorite job.

The festive day began with the bride’s preparations. Evgeniya had three wedding dresses – for the ceremony, for the photoshoot, and for the dinner. All incredibly beautiful and in different styles. One of them was so heavy that it required a separate suitcase to bring it to Italy. The groom visited several stores in Moscow searching for a suitable one, which you wouldn’t do for just anyone, but for your future beloved wife!

The official marriage took place outdoors with views of the Tuscan landscapes. After that, the newlyweds went on a photoshoot in a retro car, while the guests enjoyed an aperitif. The whole celebration, from the ceremony to dinner, was accompanied by live music. The couple wanted a varied repertoire, so we had a violinist and a saxophonist, and by the end of the evening, a DJ.

Evgeniya and Ilia also prepared a surprise for the guests – a dramatic tango. The newlyweds took two weeks of dance lessons to learn their wedding dance. For Ilia, this was his first ever dance experience. It turned out to be truly Wow 🤩!

After the wedding in Tuscany, the newlyweds went on a trip around Italy. One of the stops was Lake Como, specifically Villa Balbianello. Evgeniya had dreamed of having a wedding photoshoot at this location. Making dreams come true is our job! The photos and videos turned out amazing. Do you agree?
Villa Balbianello
Despite all the challenges, we created a true Italian fairy tale! The couple and guests were thrilled. No one expected that such magic could be created in such a short time. And for that, a big thank you to our entire team. It turned out to be truly international, which is especially valuable given all the global events. The team from Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia worked together to create incredible magic! We took amazing photos and videos, decorated the venue with fresh flowers and candles, and even brought the tableware from Montenegro.

Carpe Diem, as the Italians say – live in the present. And we say: “Celebrate love and make dreams come true, no matter what happens!” And remember, the Italian fairy tale is real. Because you have us! Our favorite job is making people happy and making the impossible possible.
Marina, I would like to thank you personally for organizing our wedding and photoshoot on Como! 🥂👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️There were a lot of details, changes, and problems along the way to the event, but it all went wonderfully!💪🥳 A huge amount of work was done! In short, thank you so much! 😊

A Small Wedding in the Eternal City: How Krina and Yuri Said “I Do” on Capitol Hill

Wedding date: May 17, 2025

Venue: Rome, Italy

Format: A small wedding in a big city

Photographer: Irina Morina

Stylist: Tania Nitsak

Flowers & décor: Kseniafioriroma

Event planner: @wowitaly_events

“I wanted the day to be about us. For everything — from the bouquet color to the music — to tell our story.”

Official ceremony on the Capitoline Hill

Rome. A city where every stone holds history and sunsets wash the rooftops in warm gold. It was here that Krina and Yuriy decided to say “yes” to each other — officially, beautifully, and with that sense of taste you find only in Italy.

Both are aesthetes, inspired by art, architecture, and beauty in the details. Their wedding was conceived as a reflection of that taste: deep green and beige accents, an atmosphere without excessive pomp yet full of style and harmony.

“At that moment we realized we wanted an official ceremony. So that the passport would say: ‘Rome.’ It’s part of our story, forever.”

A day to remember forever

We arranged an official wedding for the couple on the Capitoline Hill — a place you can’t confuse with any other. This is where Rome began, the most important square in imperial Rome, and where Michelangelo worked in the Renaissance. Everything — from filing the documents to signing them — we handled remotely so the couple could simply enjoy the moment.

The majestic Sala Rossa, with gilding, velvet, and Renaissance frescoes, became the backdrop for their vows. Afterwards — photos on the panoramic terrace with views of the Forum and Rome’s domes, and an aperitivo with friends.

Morning

In Krina’s historic room, the aroma of coffee and gentle anticipation filled the air. Getting ready felt calm, almost homelike: makeup, outfit details, bouquet. In the next room, Yuriy adjusted his tie, peeking in now and then to share a secret smile with the bride.

The road to the Capitoline

The couple drove through Rome’s narrow streets in a vintage car, soaking up congratulations from Romans and tourists.

Ceremony

In the Sala Rossa everything was intimate and elegant: vows, signatures, the registrar’s jokes, and that very moment when you can read in the couple’s eyes, “We did it in Rome!”

Congratulations from friends and lots of hugs

After the ceremony — an aperitivo with friends on a panoramic terrace. Laughter, lightness, and frames in which Rome becomes the third participant in the story.

Aperitivo and dinner

In Rome’s green heart, guests enjoyed an Italian dinner: pasta with oysters, fresh antipasti, wine from family wineries. The table décor continued the wedding theme — green, beige, artichokes, and pearls.

Weather with character

The forecast promised sun all day, but the sky decided to add a bit of romance. The rain appeared three times, briefly — to bless the couple with a long and happy life together.

Why a wedding in Italy is your best choice

  • No routine — instead of familiar banquet halls and predictable routes, you’re in a city that inspires from the very first step.
  • Living culture — a morning cappuccino at a café overlooking the square, the chime of bells, evening jazz on the street — all of it becomes part of your wedding day.
  • A cuisine you can never get enough of — fresh ingredients, family recipes, and a presentation that delights as much as the taste.
  • Harmony in the details — architecture, colors, music, and mood merge into a coherent atmosphere where every detail makes you happy.
  • Legal significance — you return home not just with beautiful memories, but with an officially recognized marriage concluded in the heart of Europe.

How Italy Became the Final Choice: Darya & Andrey’s Dream Wedding on Lake Como

Photography: Ksenia Palchuk
Hair & Makeup: Olga Goncharova
Videography: Vladimir Tsar
Venue: Villa Harmonia
Event Planner: @wowitaly_events

The dream of a destination wedding abroad, in Italy, on the legendary Lake Como, is more than just a passing trend. It is a desire to touch eternity, art, and dolce vita — moments that linger in memory forever. With its impeccable aesthetics, rich history, and unmistakable sense of style, Italy possesses a magnetic allure. It draws in those who seek not merely a celebration, but a deep, emotional experience where every frame, every flavor, and every feeling is infused with true romance.

For many, Italy is not just a country, but a palette of sensations — perfectly suited for the most important day of their lives.

And this dream, no matter how distant it may seem, truly deserves to become reality.

From Shanghai to Lake Como: A Journey to “I Do”

Darya and Andrey are both hopeless romantics. They love traveling together and taking long walks with their dog, and they admit that their greatest happiness lies in sharing emotions and experiences with the one they love.

Their journey to the altar began with an unexpected proposal in Shanghai. The choice of city was no coincidence — Darya speaks Chinese fluently and has a deep affection for Chinese culture. At the top of the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower, against the backdrop of the glittering мегаполиса, Andrey went down on one knee, giving Darya a moment that would remain in her memory forever as a complete and beautiful surprise.

After that magical “yes,” the couple faced the familiar question: where? At first, they considered a civil ceremony in Moscow followed by an intimate dinner. But it soon became clear that a story like theirs called for something on a different scale. They began exploring destination wedding options, and Georgia was one of the first ideas that came to mind. However, after reviewing proposals from local agencies, they realized that for a similar budget they could create something far more meaningful.

And then fate stepped in once again. When they came across an article about the possibility of having an official wedding in Italy — and on Lake Como, no less — they were instantly transported back to their winter trip to Lombardy five years earlier. Milan, Como — Italy had captivated them with its mild winter, extraordinary cuisine, and a beauty that stayed in their hearts long after the journey ended. Lake Como, in particular, left a lasting impression.

After seeing photographs from one of our weddings at Villa Monastero, Darya and Andrey could no longer imagine their own celebration anywhere else. Only Lake Como.

Ten Years Later: A Wedding on the Day It All Began

When the couple reached out to our agency, they were faced with one key question: how could they combine their dream of an official wedding in Italy with a date that held deep personal meaning? For Darya and Andrey, August 29 was not just a date — it marked the 10th anniversary of their first meeting. It was on this symbolic day that they wanted to become husband and wife. And we made it happen: the official ceremony took place on August 29 at the Bellagio Town Hall — the jewel of Lake Como. Ten years after their first encounter, they stood on the threshold of a new chapter of their lives in the place they had always dreamed of.

Their wedding day began with a sense of quiet anticipation. Darya spent the morning getting ready in a calm, intimate atmosphere with her stylist, bridesmaids, and mother. Meanwhile, Andrey shared his pre-wedding hours with friends, enjoying a small bachelor gathering and photoshoot. Later, the guests and the groom made their way to the Bellagio Town Hall, while Darya — accompanied by her bridesmaids and parents — took a serene boat journey across the lake to the ceremony.

Lake Como is known for its unpredictable weather, and that day the forecast promised rain. And rain it did: the first drops began to fall as Darya’s boat approached Bellagio, continuing throughout the ceremony itself. Yet not for a moment did the bride feel disappointed.

In Italy, there is a saying: “A bride who gets wet in the rain is a lucky bride”
(Sposa bagnata – sposa fortunata).

Darya and Andrey embraced it as a good omen. Their radiant smiles, joy, and the warmth of their guests seemed to chase the clouds away. By the time the ceremony came to an end, the sky had cleared, gifting everyone with sunshine.

The Villa of Their Dreams

After the official ceremony, the couple set off on a romantic boat ride across the lake, savoring their first moments as husband and wife. Meanwhile, the guests enjoyed a guided visit to Villa Monastero, one of Lake Como’s most iconic and picturesque villas — a place that had completely captured Darya’s heart. Later, the newlyweds joined them. It was on the villa’s legendary balcony, overlooking the lake, that a series of the most romantic images was created — exactly as Darya had always imagined.

The celebration itself became a true journey. From Villa Monastero, the couple and their guests traveled by boat to Villa Harmonia, where the wedding dinner awaited. On the terrace, accompanied by the sounds of Italian music, heartfelt toasts and warm congratulations were shared. The evening continued with dancing and cocktails.

Darya and Andrey wanted this day to be perfect not only for their guests, but also for themselves — with moments of privacy and the freedom to truly savor every minute. And they succeeded. A private boat ride, an intimate photoshoot at Villa Monastero — every detail was thoughtfully planned to strike the perfect balance between joyful celebration and quiet togetherness.

Here is what the couple themselves had to say about their wedding day:

“We truly appreciate everything you did for us. All of our guests — and they came from seven different countries — were absolutely thrilled and kept telling us throughout the evening that they had never been to a wedding that felt so much like a movie.

We are incredibly grateful and know for certain that without your dedication and the immense amount of work behind the scenes, this day simply would not have happened. All we had to do was enjoy the moment — which we happily did 😀
Everyone we worked with throughout the day was wonderful and highly professional. It felt amazing knowing everything was under control and done with such heart. We will remember this day forever — light, beautiful, and joyful — all thanks to you.”

Dream Without Limits. Live the Moment.

Darya and Andrey’s story is an inspiring reminder that true love can cross any distance and bring even the boldest dreams to life. Don’t settle for options that feel easier if they don’t spark something in your heart. Your wedding is more than just a single day — it is the beginning of your shared story. Don’t postpone dreams of a fairytale, especially when it comes to such a meaningful moment.

If you dream of a destination wedding, a celebration in Italy, or the magic of Lake Como, know that this is not just a fantasy. It is a reality waiting for you. We are here to guide you along the way and turn your dream into an unforgettable day — one that will shine as brightly as the sun over an Italian lake after the happiest rain.
