A love story at a Renaissance villa: the wedding of Jamilya and Ruslan

Venue: A Renaissance-era villa near Rome

The wedding of Jamilya and Ruslan in Italy became a true journey that brought together two cultures, two families and two homes. The couple divides their lives between two countries, Russia and Uzbekistan.
They dreamed of creating a celebration that would offer their loved ones not only the joy of the event itself but also the chance to discover Italy, to breathe in its atmosphere and to feel that a wedding can become an unforgettable adventure shared by all.

This is why they chose not a traditional banquet hall or a familiar hotel but a Renaissance villa near Rome, set on a panoramic hill with sweeping views of the towns of Lazio and the distant line of the sea. From the very first moment, this place felt like a true revelation to them.

The first morning at the villa: views that are impossible to forget

Jamilya shared that they arrived at the villa late in the evening. Everything around them was hidden in darkness and she barely had a moment to take anything in.

But in the morning, when the first rays of sunlight touched the hills, she walked up to the window and could hardly believe her eyes.
The panorama was so breathtaking that it felt as if the villa and the landscape belonged only to them, as if they had become part of this beauty and this history.

It is moments like these that make Italian locations truly one of a kind.

A morning of getting ready for the bride and groom

The wedding day began in an unexpected way. Jamilya and Ruslan spent a small pre-wedding morning with their friends right at the villa to lift everyone’s spirits and fill the day with emotion.
They arranged photo sessions in the historic halls, where high ceilings, frescoes, ancient walls and soft light created an atmosphere perfectly suited for the beginning of the celebration.

The first look and a walk through the villa

After the morning shooting, the moment of the first look arrived. They chose to hold it in one of the villa’s historic halls.
Afterward, the couple went for a photo walk around the estate. Panoramic terraces, sweeping views of the hills, elegant architecture, quiet green corners and the surrounding silence became the perfect backdrop.

Jamilya and Ruslan intentionally planned their photo session before the ceremony so they could spend as much time as possible with their guests later.

The ceremony in the frescoed hall

The ceremony took place in the villa’s frescoed hall, which had recently reopened after restoration. The seventeenth-century frescoes, with their depth of color and historical character, created a special almost mystical atmosphere. Jamilya and Ruslan exchanged their vows and it felt as though history itself had become part of the moment.

After the ceremony, everyone stepped out onto the panoramic terrace for an aperitif. Live music, the setting sun, glasses in hand, laughter, conversations and the breathtaking views created a light and joyful sense of beauty in the present moment.

As evening fell, the guests moved to the area prepared for the wedding dinner. Jamilya had dreamed of a wedding in an autumn palette and the décor reflected this idea completely. Deep wine and dark green tones, hydrangeas, orchids, amaranths and seasonal fruits continued the aesthetics of the Renaissance villa and highlighted its grandeur.

Dancing and the close of the wedding day

After dinner, the dancing began, opened by Jamilya and Ruslan with their first dance. The evening was filled with music, warmth and joyful movement, the perfect finale to the celebration.
This is how their wedding day came to a close: beautiful, emotional and truly unifying. It gave their families new experiences and left their guests with memories they will return to again and again.

The Renaissance villa, the panoramic views, the sense of history, the emotions and the love made this day especially meaningful, and we were delighted to help the couple bring their Italian dream to life.

Family Traditions at Lake Como: The Wedding of Daria and Ivan

Photography: Kalibri Group
Hair and Makeup: Olga Goncharova
Flowers and Decor: Evgenia Kasyanenko
Videography: Alexey Zaries
Host and Music: Georgy Chkareuli
Venue: Villa Aura
Event Planning: @wowitaly_events

Daria and Ivan had long dreamed of a grand and beautiful wedding. Daria is from Kazakhstan, Ivan is from Russia, and they now live in Germany. They have been officially married for several years, yet bringing all their family and closest friends together for a celebration proved difficult. The pandemic changed everything and the event had to be postponed. When life finally returned to its familiar rhythm, the couple came to us, and together we began a journey that grew into a year and a half of preparation for their perfect day.

The location was chosen with intention. Villa Aura sits on the picturesque shore of Lake Como. Built at the end of the eighteenth century, it served for many years as a family estate, passed down from generation to generation. The care with which its owners preserved the architecture, the grounds, and the traditions can be felt in every corner.

This is why Daria and Ivan’s choice became symbolic. They decided to celebrate their day in a place filled with a living sense of family history and cherished values. It was the perfect setting to say “yes” to each other once again, this time surrounded by the people dearest to their hearts.

Bridal Morning: A Soft Pin-Up Moment Overlooking the Lake

Daria’s morning began with a distinctive touch. She chose a pin-up look inspired by the golden era of femininity in the 1940s and 1950s. High heels, a graceful corset, curlers, and a playful mood created a sense of effortless retro chic. The shots taken on the small balcony overlooking Lake Como became the embodiment of perfection, where nature, style, and emotion formed a single story.

After the shoot, Daria changed into her wedding dress, and from that moment the day turned truly magical.

Groom’s Morning and the First Look

The groom spent his morning getting ready with his stepfather, a touching and genuinely heartfelt moment of support that often stays behind the scenes but carries immense meaning.

We arranged the first look on the grounds of the villa. Villa Aura seems made for moments like this. Its secluded garden corners, stone staircases, and paths leading toward the lake create the feeling of a private park. It was here that Ivan saw Daria in her wedding look for the first time.

His reaction was sincere: surprise, admiration, and emotions that cannot be hidden. For a brief moment, the world seemed to pause, leaving just the two of them in the villa’s green oasis.

A Lakeside Ceremony and a Visit from Cupid

While Daria waited for the ceremony in her room, Ivan welcomed the guests. We arranged a small welcome area by the garden with refreshing drinks, light appetizers, and warm conversations. Guests were invited to leave audio messages for the couple and solve a crossword about their story, a heartfelt and interactive way to pass the time before the celebration began.

The ceremony arch was designed in soft white and green tones, a light floral composition that blended gently with the natural beauty of the villa.

The groom was the first to walk out. Then, to the song Young and Beautiful, Daria appeared, accompanied by her father, while her niece carefully carried the veil. The ceremony was filled with emotion. The host shared the story of how they met, and the couple exchanged touching vows.

And then came a surprise Ivan truly did not expect. A friend of the couple, dressed in a Cupid costume, stepped forward with the ring box, showering the guests and newlyweds with petals. It sparked laughter and delight and instantly became one of the most memorable and vibrant moments of the entire day.

After the ceremony, the family photo session began—warm, sincere, and full of affectionate embraces. The guests were then welcomed to a prosecco tower overlooking the lake. The clinking of glasses and joyful chatter created a festive atmosphere that felt like the perfect beginning to the evening.

While guests enjoyed the aperitivo, Daria and Ivan slipped away for a moment of their own. They set off on a romantic boat ride, a quiet and intimate pause in an otherwise eventful day.

A Candlelit Dinner Accompanied by Italian Songs

When the newlyweds returned, dinner began. The tables were lit with candles that cast a soft glow and created a warm, intimate atmosphere. Toasts followed one after another—heartfelt, sincere, sometimes emotional, but always spoken from the heart.

A group of Italian musicians added a special charm to the evening. They moved between the guests, performing iconic songs such as “Volare,” “Bella Ciao,” and “Mambo Italiano.” The guests sang along, clapped to the rhythm, and some couldn’t resist getting up to dance.

After dinner, Daria and Ivan opened the evening festivities with their first dance, and the dance floor quickly filled with guests.

Daria tossed her bouquet, and Ivan continued the fun with a unique tradition. Instead of a garter, he tossed a “bouquet of socks.” The guest who caught the pair matching his own would become someone’s future lucky groom!

Pizza Party: The Perfect Finale to an Italian Weekend

The next morning, the guests returned to continue the celebration in a relaxed atmosphere. For the pizza party, we created a space inspired by classic Italian charm:
• an ice cream truck
• a cocktail station serving Aperol Spritz
• a cozy lounge area
• a buffet with local treats

The centerpiece of the event was a pizza masterclass. A true Italian pizzaiolo taught the guests how to stretch the dough, add the sauce, choose the toppings, and bake their pizzas in the oven. It was fun, delicious, and wonderfully authentic. Everyone left with unforgettable emotions and a sense of having truly experienced Italian culture.

Daria and Ivan’s wedding became more than just a beautiful day. It turned into a full Italian family weekend filled with love, laughter, flavors, music, and memories impossible to forget.

Alex is a lawyer with a sense of humor and an extraordinary ability to be a steady source of support. Living in sunny Miami they met in the place where many love stories are born today in a dating app.

The first meeting and a love for furry companions

After a few messages Alex suggested that he and Anna meet in person. They met in a bar and within just a couple of hours both understood that this was the beginning of something significant. From that evening on they were almost inseparable.

There was only one complication. Anna had a cat. Alex had a cat allergy. Yet love is stronger than any limitation even an allergic one. Alex began taking medication without hesitation simply to be close to Anna and her sweet fluffy companion. Italy the country of their hearts

Italy had long become a special place for Anna and Alex. They had already spent time in Tuscany explored small Italian towns and enjoyed the unhurried rhythm of local life. Only a day before the symbolic ceremony in Rome did his mother learn that her son and his bride were already officially husband and wife. She was overwhelmed with emotion. It was unexpected sincere and incredibly moving.

A ceremony on the terrace and a walk through the Eternal City

For their wedding day Anna and Alex chose one of Rome’s atmospheric terraces overlooking terracotta rooftops domes of ancient churches and a city where even the air feels more romantic.

To the sound of a violin and the melody of Here comes the bride Alex saw his Anna in a white dress for the first time. They exchanged vows gentle and full of meaning and then the moment flowed naturally into a meeting with their beloved city as their photo session turned into a small Roman adventure.

From Seoul with love: the wedding of Jin and Jessica in Rome

Photography: Irina Morina
Flowers: Ksenia Podgornaya
Event planner: @wowitaly_events

In South Korea there is a lovely tradition: many couples arrange a separate photoshoot long before the wedding or the day before the official ceremony. Although this custom does not require any specific location or format, for many Korean couples it is a chance to capture the “before the wedding” chapter, choose beautiful looks and create photographs that can later be used for invitations or wedding announcements.

When Jin and Jessica decided to get married, they realised that for their pre wedding story they wanted something truly special. And they chose the Eternal City to give each other a promise of love and devotion.

Their story

Jin and Jessica met back in school and have been together for fifteen years. Every gesture and every look between them reflects care and tenderness. Watching them feels like watching a romantic Korean drama, the kind that makes you believe time has no power over true feelings.

“Fifteen years have passed without us even noticing. I still remember the excitement of our first meeting. Thank you for always being by my side, for supporting and inspiring me,” Jin would say during the ceremony.

Not the tourist’s Rome, but a personal and heartfelt story

The couple did not want the classic tourist shots. Yes, they were in Rome, but could they skip the Colosseum? Absolutely. The Eternal City has more than two thousand years of history and knows how to surprise.

We began the preparations with the most important detail: the place where they would stay. Instead of well known hotels, we suggested a palace. Palazzo Talia is tucked away in the historic centre of Rome, between the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. It was built in the sixteenth century for the secretary of Pope Leo X and served for many years as a private residence. Today it is a small hotel that blends Renaissance interiors with modern comfort. It was exactly the kind of elegant, historic atmosphere Jin and Jessica dreamed of for their wedding morning.

A heartfelt ceremony for two

For the ceremony we offered the couple something other than a popular panoramic terrace. Those places may have views, but they lack privacy. The couple dreamed of a beautiful location, elegant and slightly elevated, where their cherished words would be spoken. And we found such a place — Villa Celimontana. This park is located almost in the heart of Rome, yet far from the noise. Under the whisper of leaves, inside a neo Gothic chapel from the late nineteenth century, Jin and Jessica exchanged their vows:

“They say love is not destiny but a choice. And today, tomorrow and in all the days to come, I choose you without hesitation. Every day becomes special because you are near. Your smile is my happiness, your dream has become my goal. When you are with me, no time or change can frighten me. Let us walk through life together.”

It felt as if the ceremony was not just a beautiful event but a true promise and the beginning of a new chapter. After that it was time to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Eternal City. The couple drove through Roman streets in a vintage car, received congratulations and soaked in the sunset over St Peter’s Basilica.

Jin and Jessica’s wedding turned out deeply heartfelt. No crowds, no typical tourist clichés, but with a true feeling of Rome, its history and themselves. They will remember this day as their own, beautifully unique.

When a flight attendant and a pilot choose love and Lake Como: the wedding of Yulia and Jean-Marie

Photography: Ksenia Palchik
MUAH: Lidia Malinovskaya
Flowers and Decor: Yulia Della Bella
Event planner: @wowitaly_events

What are the most romantic professions you can think of? We believe that anything connected to aviation belongs on that list. After all, the love between a pilot and a flight attendant is a romance written between the sky and the clouds. Every flight is a new chapter. Sometimes turbulent, sometimes soft and cloudless, yet always real. He sets the course and she creates the atmosphere. He is responsible for altitude, she is responsible for lightness. Together they turn an ordinary journey into a story you cannot look away from.

This is the story of Yulia and Jean Marie. A girl from Latvia chose the profession of a flight attendant. A young man from France decided to become a pilot. And where did fate bring them together? Naturally in the sky. For them the clouds are not just scenery but their daily workspace. Distances are not an obstacle but a routine. This is what makes their love story even more beautiful.

A story that began in the sky

They work in the same field, aviation. Airlines, flights, connections, layovers, business trips… and somewhere between all of that their feelings began to grow.

Yulia is bright and warm, someone who notices beauty in everything around her. Jean Marie is confident and calm, the kind of man whose presence makes you feel safe. He trusts Yulia completely and she brings light and colour into his life.

They travel a lot, both for work and for the joy of discovering new places. Dozens of countries, hundreds of airports, thousands of kilometres are already behind them. Yet for the most important day they chose a place unlike any other: Italy. More precisely, Lake Como. The beauty of nature, the energy of the lake and the mountains all echo Yulia’s character and harmonise with Jean Marie’s calmness. Lake Como became their conscious choice, not accidental and not tourist driven, but heartfelt.

Two celebrations in one: a wedding and a birthday

The couple dreamed of a day without guests, without fuss, without a schedule measured by the minute. Just the two of them, their feelings and the atmosphere of a celebration that felt truly their own.

That day Yulia had another reason to be happy: it was her birthday. And the morning began exactly as a woman’s morning should begin, with a light and joyful mood and a glass of chilled champagne. Together we created the feeling of a beautiful morning in which every detail was thoughtful and every touch was both gentle and festive.

A ceremony at a villa with a view of the lake

For the ceremony the couple chose a private villa, cosy and filled with Italian charm. On the lawn overlooking the breathtaking view of Lake Como, a beautiful ceremony space was created. Petals, flowers, arrangements, light — everything looked like a scene from a film. Even though the celebration was just for the two of them, Yulia dreamed of a true wedding atmosphere. And she had it: a white dress, tender vows, a wedding cake, petals at the end of the ceremony, congratulations and emotions.

After the ceremony Yulia and Jean Marie went for a boat ride on the lake. On a stylish boat, with an aperitif, the wind in their hair and happiness in their eyes. Their laughter, their embraces, the reflection of the sun on the water — all of it created moments you want to look back on again and again. The perfect ending to their special day was a sunset photoshoot at one of the most beautiful villas on the lake, Villa Monastero.

The story of Yulia and Jean Marie is a reminder that love can find you in any airport in the world. You can see the whole world from above and still choose one single place on earth to say the most important words to each other — Lake Como. We will be happy to create your perfect day in this unique place as well!

When the Heart Chooses Italy: Sandra & Andrej’s Tender Lake Como Wedding

Photography: Oksana Savenchuk
MUAH: Lidia Malinovskaia
Flowers: Evgenia Kasianenko
Videography: Aleksei Tkachonok
Venue: Villa Harmonia
Event planner: @wowitaly_events

When the heart whispers the right direction, it never truly leads you astray. That’s exactly what happened with Sandra and Andrej. Last year, they were simply vacationing in Italy — with no plans, no expectations. Just enjoying their favorite pasta and Aperol. But Lake Como, framed by mountains and filled with its unforgettable atmosphere, stayed with them long after the trip.

And then — they discovered our Instagram, the photos, the inspiration…

“It’s all so beautiful. You don’t get views like this everywhere, especially back home in Latvia,” they recall.
And that’s how Italy quietly and gently became a part of their story.

A wedding for two, where love and freedom come first

Sandra and Andrej share many things, but above all — a mutual desire to move, explore, and live in the rhythm of the heart. Fitness, bike rides, summer swims, motorcycles, traveling — they’re equally in love with being active and seeking new adventures.

That’s why choosing a wedding just for the two of them felt completely natural. No grand banquet, no noise — just the two of them and a place that once found its way into their memories and has now become a symbol of a new beginning. The official registration with their families was planned back home in Latvia, while their special, intimate “I do” — just the two of them — they saved for Lake Como.

A terrace ceremony with a view you’ll never forget

The day began with a perfect morning — no rush, no worries, no need to hurry anywhere. Just time to enjoy the views and gently prepare for the ceremony. Villa Harmonia feels as if it was created especially for intimate, heartfelt weddings. From the terrace of the suite, you see the lake and the mountains — a view you could admire endlessly.

It felt as though the whole world held its breath when Sandra stepped out to meet Andrej. That moment when the groom sees his bride in her dress for the first time is always deeply emotional and incredibly personal. Then came the vows, accompanied by the soft sound of a violin. For this moment, they chose Andrea Bocelli’s “Vivo per lei.” And finally, the cherished “Yes” was spoken — and it was time to pop the prosecco. Cin cin!

Lake Como — the perfect backdrop for love

A classic touch, without which it’s impossible to fully experience the beauty of Lake Como, is a ride on a beautiful boat. Sandra and Andrej sat close to each other, sharing quiet hugs and taking in the familiar views. It was a moment of complete peace and happiness — the kind when you realize your dream has come true, and life feels truly perfect in these very minutes.

The photoshoot at Villa Monastero became the final, cinematic frame of their wedding day. Their photos turned out warm and full of life — like scenes from a love story film. Every curve of the terrace, every palm shadow, every stepped path leading to the water seemed to highlight their story — the story of a couple who chose themselves and their dream.

A wedding with heart

This day wasn’t about scale — it was about meaning. About the idea that sometimes a perfect wedding requires only two people who share each other’s dreams and are willing to bring them to life. And for Sandra and Andrej, everything came together beautifully:

“Thank you once again to your entire team for all the work you’ve done! 😍🤗
We are absolutely thrilled — everything was so beautiful, stylish, and heartfelt! It means so much to us that everything came together so quickly and so professionally! 🥰😁”

These words say everything about them. Because when love and true professionalism come together with a dream, it becomes the kind of celebration people call a dream wedding.

A Lake Como Wedding: Why Imitate Italy When You Can Be Here

Photography: Kseniia Palchik
Videography: Vladimir Tsar
Flowers & Decor: Evgenia Kasianenko
MUAH: Anastasia Kataurova
Host: Konstantin Novikov
Calligraphy: Valeria Shalaevskaya
Venue: Regina Teodolinda
Event planner: @wowitaly_events

When two people from the world of IT come together not just to build careers, but to create a life side by side, it becomes a story of understanding and a longing for something genuine and heartfelt. Elizaveta and Gennady speak the same language — the analytical one — yet they experience the world in completely different ways: his practical, measured approach blends seamlessly with her romantic, intuitive one. And as Elizaveta admits, it is this very balance that makes their partnership so strong. They share a love for culinary discoveries, are passionate seekers of new desserts, and, of course, devoted travelers. So it comes as no surprise that the path to their dream wedding led them to one of the most beautiful — and delicious — countries in the world: Italy.

From a Local Villa to an Italian Fairytale

At first, the couple planned to hold an “Italian-style” wedding near Moscow and even began searching for the perfect villa. But one day Elizaveta came across an article about weddings in Italy — and everything changed. “Why recreate the Italian atmosphere when we can simply be in Italy?” they thought. And that decision became a turning point. Lake Como, lush greenery, the mountains reflected in the water, authentic Italian cuisine — everything came together to form the perfect vision of their day.

“From our very first call with Marina, Sveta, and Katya, we instantly clicked! Incredibly smooth communication and an absolutely professional team — that’s how I would describe our planners. Throughout the entire preparation process, we were in constant contact. They kept detailed checklists and budgeting documents, created a shared space with everything we needed, and guided us through every step. They supported and advised us while preparing the documents for our legal ceremony and assisted with visa arrangements for us and our guests.”

Looks Inspired by Quiet Luxury

Elizaveta chose an old money concept — a style of understated elegance where every detail speaks of refined taste and quiet confidence. The couple dreamed of being surrounded by water and greenery on their special day, and Villa Regina Teodolinda became the perfect choice. Intimate and charming, with its own private pier, the villa was named after a queen who loved to spend time there. What could be a better embodiment of “quiet luxury”?

Italy: A Week of Love

Elizaveta and Gennady decided that their passports should also reflect the place where they were getting married — Lake Como. And just like that, one festive day turned into a true Italian holiday.

Day 1

The official ceremony took place at the Italian town hall. The couple chose to experience this moment entirely on their own, so they met the rest of the guests already as husband and wife. They celebrated this milestone with a boat ride across the lake and an evening visit to a historic bar in Como.

Day 2

The day when the magic happened!

The bride’s morning unfolded gently — breakfast, meeting with the stylist, and a soft, intimate bridal boudoir session. The ceremony was planned for the afternoon. Guests were welcomed with refreshing drinks, live music, and entertainment. Everyone mingled cheerfully, filled out the guest book for the couple, or recorded audio messages for them as keepsakes.

And then, finally, the melody of Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey begins to play, and the guests see the bride for the first time. Elizaveta descends toward the ceremony area, feeling a touch of nervousness. But Gennady is already waiting for her there, dressed in an elegant white tuxedo — her husband, her steady support — and suddenly there is no reason to worry at all.

Everything flies by in a single breath. A heartfelt ceremony with one of the most breathtaking views imaginable. Then a light aperitivo and warm congratulations before the newlyweds depart for a romantic boat ride, just the two of them. Meanwhile, the guests continue to enjoy themselves. They will welcome the bride and groom again at dinner — and after that, everyone will dance the night away under the stars.

It was the happiest week of our lives!

“During the wedding dinner, as we looked around at the décor with the view of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains, seeing each other’s happy faces and those of our guests, we realized just how right we were to trust our wonderful planners. They poured so much effort and love into our celebration — we are endlessly grateful to them for that 🤍 It was the happiest week of our lives!” — shares the bride, Elizaveta.

And in these words lies everything one needs to know about their story. Because when a dream is brought to life with love and true professionalism, it becomes exactly what people call a dream wedding.

Everything you dreamed of: Aaron and Katerina’s wedding in one of the most beautiful villas in the world

In a world with so much glitter and noisy décor, true luxury isn’t gold and jewels. It’s the emotions that can’t be faked and the genuine feelings lived in every glance. It’s laughter over a candlelit dinner, hands intertwined while dancing beneath the stars, and the memories that stay with you forever.

Lake Como knows how to make you fall in love. In its blue mirror, mountains and sunsets are reflected — and in the heart, the most touching stories. One of them is the story of Aaron and Katerina, a couple who brought together the groom’s Irish roots, the bride’s Russian soul, and a shared love for Italy in one celebration.

Villa Bonomi, where time stands still

The venue for their celebration was Villa Bonomi — one of the most elegant villas in the world. Tucked among green hills with panoramic lake views, it unites architectural grandeur, the beauty of Italian gardens, and absolute privacy.

There’s no cold marble or cumbersome opulence here. Instead — the warm aesthetic of an Italian home, hand-painted furniture, details thought through to perfection, and a garden that is a work of art in itself. Panoramic terraces open onto the lake’s azure surface, and harmony and calm can be felt in every corner of the villa.

This is a place where nature and design merge into a single canvas, and every minute becomes part of a story you’ll want to tell again and again.

A love story worthy of the big screen

Their path began in London, at the legendary The Ned, where jazz and cocktails set the scene for their first meeting. The pandemic only strengthened their bond: “spy” meetings through Hyde Park, baking together, Zoom quizzes, and endless conversations about everything.

They discovered new countries together, but Italy always lived in their hearts — a place they wanted to return to again and again. The proposal came in Tokyo, in a secluded room of a restaurant in Ginza: glasses of champagne, soft light, gifts from the chef, and a moment that had everything — love, excitement, and a hush as if the whole world had disappeared. From that day, they both knew their “Si” would be heard on the shores of Lake Como.

Four days filled with emotion

Day 1: Welcome Dinner

An evening on the terrace of Villa Bonomi at sunset. Italian wine, dishes with nods to Russian traditions in a contemporary interpretation, heartfelt toasts, and those first minutes when everyone realizes something special is beginning.

Day 2: The dream wedding

The gardens of Villa Bonomi turned into a living Monet painting: gentle pastel tones, watercolor lightness, the couple’s monogram at the ceremony area and even on the ice cubes at the aperitivo, playful caricatures for guests, the sound of saxophone, an elegant dinner in the glow of glass and candles, and dancing to live music until the fireworks.

Day 3: Pizza Party by the pool

A DJ, cocktails, laughter, and swims in warm water. The carefree atmosphere of Italian dolce vita.

Day 4: Breakfast and ciao-ciao!

A warm morning, fresh pastries, hugs, and the bride’s tears — she didn’t want the magic to end.

For those who dream

A wedding in Italy isn’t a date on a calendar — it’s a journey you live through together. The story of Aaron and Katerina is proof that you can unite different cultures, beloved traditions, and stylish aesthetics to give yourselves and your guests four days that will stay in your hearts forever.

«Guys, I will write a proper thank you once we regain a bit of normality, but just wanted to say massive thank you. This is something out of this world, and everyone, literally everyone said that the wedding team has totally outdone themselves. Wedding of Victorin and Valeria

Wedding date: May 5, 2025

Venue: Lake Como, Italy

Format: Elopement — just the two of you, just love

Photographer: Ksenia

Stylist: Anastasia

Event planner: @wowitaly_events

“You turned a storm into fireworks, and our day into a film we want to rewatch again and again.”

The wedding of Viktorin and Valeria: When love is louder than the weather forecast

The wedding morning began with rain. Fine drops slid down the windows, the sky over the lake was covered with clouds, and there was something special in the air. For Valeria and Viktorin, this wasn’t a reason to worry — on the contrary, a sign that everything was going just as it should. They weren’t waiting for perfect weather. They were waiting for this day. The very one when you just want to be together — without scripts or expectations, without a crowd or formalities.

Lake Como became the backdrop for their story. Laughter, vows on the water, a gentle breeze, the boat’s spray, Prosecco in hand, and the sun that finally peeked through the clouds. Nature didn’t get in the way. It played along, breathed with them in the same rhythm, and amplified every feeling.

There wasn’t a single accidental detail. Everything was honest and very personal. They chose to be together — they chose feeling over format. And in that choice, there was everything. This day will stay with them not only in frames, but in memory — as a story impossible to forget. And we simply helped it happen.

Later, Valeria would write:

“Even if it rained — the day was amazing. You did the impossible: turned bad weather into magic, and every moment into something eternal that still gives us goosebumps. We didn’t have a minute to catch our breath, and it was the best thing that could have happened ❤️.”

Minimum words, maximum feelings. Just you and Lake Como.

Do you also want to forget the format and simply be together? We know how to make it beautiful.

Symbolic Wedding in Italy

Vanessa and Evgeny: Wedding with Guests on Lake Maggiore

A few years ago, Vanessa and Evgeny met on the open terrace of a restaurant in Chișinău, and since then, they have never parted. When we asked the couple what unites them, they answered: “Cozy evenings watching movies, a love for good food and a good life, and also our dogs – Ricci and Ponchik.” So, this is true dolce far niente (sweet doing nothing) – the favorite pastime of Italians. That’s why Italy was such a perfect choice for celebrating Vanessa and Evgeny’s special day with their closest loved ones.

The couple wanted to make this celebration not only for themselves but also for their family and friends. They wanted to organize everything so that the guests wouldn’t worry about anything but could just enjoy the atmosphere. After all, for many, it was their first trip to Italy. On the one hand, the couple wanted Italian classics: decor in light tones, the lake, and mountains. On the other hand, they wanted the wedding to be something unique. So, we suggested a cozy villa on Lake Maggiore instead of the famous Lake Como. This green paradise was perfect for their wedding concept. Here, all 30 guests could stay together. They had access to a shaded park for walks, an elegant restaurant, and even their own beach.

The celebration began the day before the wedding. In the afternoon, some guests went shopping in Milan, and in the evening, everyone gathered at one table with a view of the lake. The pre-wedding dinner was a great idea to get everyone to know each other better and get into the festive mood.

The wedding ceremony was scheduled for the afternoon, so the day began slowly, just as the couple likes it. The couple had time for a swim and a few hours of men’s talks over coffee and more 🙂 The ladies were preparing for the photoshoot. The newlyweds had a luxurious room with panoramic windows and a large bathtub. First, Vanessa had an individual photo shoot in lace lingerie, followed by a bachelorette party with her bridesmaids and beloved pets.

Meanwhile, we were preparing the venue. Vanessa wanted a photo zone with a large mirror for selfies, as well as live music for the guests.

And then the hour of the ceremony arrived. Lake Maggiore shimmered in the sunlight, and the guests, waiting for the bride, were fanning themselves with fans. The groom was already at the altar, but the host did not rush to invite the bride – first, let the three-year-old girl, Thea, sprinkle petals along the path. And finally, to the sound of the violin, Father Nikolai led his daughter to the groom.

After the ceremony, Vanessa and Evgeny went for a boat ride on the lake, while the guests, following Italian tradition, had their aperitif time. They were served appetizers and drinks, and while the music band played, they could dance on the open terrace. Guests also had the chance to sign postcards, leave a wish in the guestbook, or record an audio message for the newlyweds. The host entertained the guests by teaching them the technique of sabrage – the art of opening a champagne bottle with a large knife.

The newlyweds opened the dinner with their first dance in the ballroom, and then everyone gathered at the big table in a family-style seating. Delicious food, contests, and congratulations followed one another. The DJ didn’t stop spinning the records, and the disco lasted until 4 AM!

WowItaly are the best! I am so grateful to you for our wedding, it was flawless and exactly like my dreams🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Thank you so much, you are the best🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I enjoy rewatching the wedding gallery❤️❤️❤️❤️
