Alexandra and Armen: Capturing Moments of Happiness with Loved Ones at Lake Como

At first glance, Italians may seem too relaxed and even superficial. But, agree, they know better than anyone how to be happy here and now. Perhaps this is why many couples choose Italy for their wedding. The country and its people already hint that the celebration will be unforgettable!

Alexandra and Armen wedding at Lake Como

Alexandra and Armen wedding at Lake Como

Armen and Alexandra met through a mutual friend, and it was love at first sight. Armen’s mother always wanted only an Armenian girl as a daughter-in-law and never stopped reminding him about it. Her first meeting with Alexandra was the kind that could be “told to the grandchildren” 😊 The young couple lost their car keys and had to go barefoot and in swimsuits to the parents to fetch a spare pair.

Alexandra’s family also put her future son-in-law to the test during their first meeting. This is what happens when your father is a former investigator. But true love overcomes all obstacles! And now, both families are planning the wedding of their son and daughter in one of the most beautiful places in the world – Lake Como.

Armen and Alexandra chose an official ceremony that took place by the water at the atmospheric Villa Monastero. The couple decided to keep the decor to a minimum, as the Italian landscapes don’t require extra embellishments. The stylist added fresh flowers to the bride’s hair, which harmoniously matched her necklace.

On the way to the ceremony, Alexandra recalls how her father was calming her down:

– Sasha, don’t worry, everything will be fine!

– Dad, I’m not worried!

– And I am worried…

At that moment, Alexandra realized how much her parents were worried about her.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests went to Bellagio for a photoshoot. One of the boats broke down just before departure. We quickly found a replacement, so the guests didn’t notice anything. Fortunately, such unexpected situations are rare, but we always have a Plan B and phone numbers of other contractors in our pocket. Just in case.

Alexandra and Armen wedding at Lake Como

At the couple’s request, we came up with a light and relaxed entertainment program for the guests. The emphasis was on making sure everyone talked more to each other and simply enjoyed the moment. For example, no Italian wedding is complete without a gift for guests – bomboniere. The name comes from the French word “bon-bon” (candy). Each gift contains 5 pieces of candy for good luck and health. Armen and Alexandra created wedding charades, and guests received a bomboniere for completing them.
At dinner, there was live music. An Italian opera singer performed the song “Grande Amore” by Il Volo, followed by dancing. The host showed the moves, and the guests repeated them. Even their friend approached them with thanks – it was the first time in four years she had seen her husband dancing! In short, everyone had fun regardless of age or nationality.
The newlyweds didn’t pre-decorate the dessert, but instead invited guests to participate in the decoration. This way, everyone could contribute and offer a bit of warmth and creativity to the couple. The cake may not have been Vogue-worthy, but it was made sincerely and with love, just like the entire wedding.

We thank Armen and Alexandra for trusting us with organizing their celebration. We wish them to continue enjoying the present, valuing each other, and living in love for many years to come.❤️

Valeria and Alexey. Wedding in Rome and Tivoli. A celebration day full of surprises

If we had to relive yesterday, we would choose each of you again. You are the best team anyone could ask for!

These words were said to us by Valeria the day after the wedding. They still warm our hearts and motivate us to conquer new heights in the event planning industry in Italy. But let’s go step by step.

Valeria and Alexey, two very warm-hearted people from the city on the Neva River, found us on Instagram. They checked out our profile and were surprised to learn that in Italy, you can organize not just a wedding, but an official ceremony with all the documents, stamps, and signatures. To hear the congratulations and “vi dichiaro marito e moglie” – “I declare you husband and wife” from a representative of the Italian municipality.

At the beginning, we always communicate with the newlyweds via video call to get to know each other personally. We did the same with Valeria and Alexey, and it was love at first call 😀 They liked our heartfelt approach to weddings and the full support at every stage of preparation. They immediately decided on our agency and began gathering the documents for the official ceremony. All that was left was to choose the location.

It should be noted that the couple are big fans of Italy. They had traveled to many places and were torn between a wedding in Sicily and one in Rome, where they had already been four times. Eventually, they chose the Eternal City.

Rome perfectly combines the opportunities of a large city with the charm of a small province. Here are the best vantage points for photo shoots with views of the most famous landmarks in the world. A rich selection of restaurants and shops. By the way, it was in the Roman shopping center Rinascente that Valeria bought her handmade wedding shoes from a Venetian brand. But few know that in addition to the capital’s opportunities, Rome can also give you the atmosphere of authentic small-town Italy.

Valeria and Alexey stayed in the center of the Eternal City. The wedding day began with the exciting preparations and writing of vows for the ceremony. They then set off, as they decided to have their official marriage at the Tivoli Town Hall.

Thirty kilometers from Rome is a town whose history dates back to the 13th century BC. This is Tivoli – one of the favorite and fashionable places during the Roman Empire. The town was famous for its fruit and olive orchards, and wealthy people built their villas here. Not much has changed to this day – the landscapes amaze the eye and heart, and the Villa d’Este with its Renaissance gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is perfect for a wedding photo shoot.

The official ceremony at the Tivoli Town Hall always has an atmosphere of warmth and coziness. There are no crowds, no one rushes you, and the staff is wonderfully friendly. Our bride simply charmed the representative of the town hall, who, without stopping, complimented her, noting her fragility and femininity.

At the end of the ceremony, the newlyweds read the vows they wrote that morning. Every word came from the heart, and the tears in their eyes were the best proof of that. It was good that the couple brought us a gift of candies with the meaningful name “Happiness” – the sweet final note of our ceremony.

Interestingly, Valeria and Alexey chose an unusual musical accompaniment – a guitar. Their favorite song by The Verve “Love is noise” in rock style. The musician sang and played it live. Perfect!

After the ceremony, now husband and wife, they returned to Rome. The couple continued their photo shoot, even stopping by the Colosseum, how could they not? But what awaited them next was a real surprise – a romantic quest. We wanted so much to make this day unforgettable that we developed a route and came up with tasks especially for them.

First, they met in their favorite restaurant. They had told us that every time they came to Rome, they always went there. The Roman-style bread, or what is commonly called pizza, was already waiting for them fresh and hot. The person who takes the biggest bite gets to be the master of the house! Everyone tried to take a bigger piece 😀

Then there were fun tasks, a treasure chest, and congratulations literally jumping out of the bushes. We have a lot of experience in conducting quests, and we did our best. Throughout the route, we captured photos and videos to make memories for the couple.

The festive day ended at the “de Russie” restaurant near Piazza del Popolo. There was a concert happening, and it felt like all of Rome was celebrating Valeria and Alexey’s wedding.

Every wedding, whether with guests or just for two, is special to us. Thank you, Valeria and Alexey, for trusting us and choosing our team. Their words of gratitude are the best reward for our work:
You are in our hearts, you are in our family archives! You are not just incredibly talented, you are the ones who make moments even more beautiful. Meeting even one of you is already a great luck. Thank you for being with us! Marina, and how do you manage to gather such amazing people.

Daria and Alexey. A Wedding in Sicily. The whole Taormina sang and danced

Daria and Alexey are a young couple from Moscow. They are in love with beautiful Italy and have already visited many places. We met the couple in Rome, where they arrived after a vacation on the Amalfi Coast.

“We plan the wedding probably in December,” said Alexey. “Will it still be warm somewhere in Italy?”

Of course! How about a wedding in Sicily, where winter is not winter, and the air is simply filled with sunlight and happiness? Neither Dasha nor Alexey had been here before and were greatly inspired by the idea of seeing a new corner of Italy. They chose an apartment with a Jacuzzi and an incredible view of the Bella Island.

They decided to hold the wedding ceremony in Taormina. If you haven’t been to this Mediterranean jewel yet, you must come! This city seems to be kissed by the sun. Even Greek poets and Roman philosophers praised Taormina for its beauty. Here, the vibrant Sicilian life is bursting, and the sea landscapes will leave no one indifferent.

The bride’s festive morning started with a relaxing bath and a classic Sicilian breakfast on the terrace – coffee, brioche, and granita. Dasha wanted to spend time before the ceremony without rushing, and she definitely succeeded. Just look at the delicate and harmonious shots our photographer captured while the bride calmly prepared for the important event.

Meanwhile, the groom was looking for a surprise for his beloved. The couple wanted wedding rings from Italy, but none of the options were quite right until Alexey visited several shops in Taormina and finally found the ones! It was the best wedding gift and a souvenir from Sicily 😉

The drive to the registry office was fun and filled with music! The couple played the song “Ah, this wedding!” at full volume, and our friendly group, together with organizer Marina and photographer Irina, sang wedding songs and took photos all the way.

And finally, the long-awaited “Si!”. The signature, and the couple curiously examines their Italian marriage certificate. Just a second ago they were bride and groom, and now they’re husband and wife. We loudly shout our congratulations and do our best to capture every moment of their happiness. This day was just for Daria and Alexey, just as they had imagined – in a new beautiful place in Italy, just the two of them!

To add even more vibrant colors to their special day, Daria and Alexey rented a colorful FIAT and invited local musicians. Sicilian music filled the air with happiness, and the whole of Taormina sang and danced with the newlyweds. The music didn’t stop even at the restaurant – how else? A Sicilian wedding cannot be quiet! 😄

Daria and Roman's Wedding. Happiness at Lake Como

Daria and Roman are a young couple from Russia. This is one of those unions where partners perfectly complement each other. Roman is the embodiment of masculinity and strength, while Daria is the personification of tenderness and femininity. The couple lives and studies in Italy, so they decided to get married here as well. They chose an intimate ceremony for two in the picturesque town of Bellagio on Lake Como.

Daria and Roman's Wedding at Lake Como

September is the perfect time for a wedding in northern Italy. Officially, it’s still summer, but the oppressive August heat is gone, and the light breeze from the lake refreshes the air.

How does a wedding day begin? With anticipation. With excitement. With the feeling of something extraordinary happening. With an amazing view of Lake Como from the windows of the Borgo Le Terrazze hotel. And, of course, with the creation of the bride’s wedding look.

Daria and Roman's Wedding at Lake Como

When the bride and groom were ready, they were joined by the photographer and videographer to capture every detail of this special day. After the photo session at the hotel, Daria and Roman headed to the official wedding ceremony, which took place in the cozy courtyard of the Bellagio Town Hall.

What Italian wedding would be complete without prosecco? After the ceremony, the newlyweds went to a cozy little wine bar to celebrate the occasion with a glass of chilled sparkling wine. From there, they took a stroll through the town, often referred to as the “pearl of Como.” Bellagio is unique primarily for its location – it lies at the very edge of a cliff, far out into the lake. The narrow streets of the historic center are charming in the true Italian way and are perfect for romantic photo shoots.

Then it was time for a boat ride on the lake and photos at Villa Melzi. This is not just one of the many villas on Lake Como. The great Hungarian composer Franz Liszt often spent time here with his lover, the French countess and writer Marie Catherine Sophie d’Agoult. They particularly enjoyed Villa Melzi with its stunning views.

Daria and Roman's Wedding at Lake Como

The legend of the beautiful love story between the composer and the writer is still alive in the memory of the locals, as evidenced by the memorial plaque on the house where the famous couple lived.
Italian newlyweds believe that spending their honeymoon in Bellagio guarantees a long and happy married life. We are sure that Daria and Roman’s life will be just as wonderful!

Evgenia and Andrey's Wedding. Enchanting Rome for Two

Many couples from Russia dream of a wedding in Cyprus, but Russians living in Cyprus choose Italy!

First, because Italy offers a wide range of wedding locations in different regions of the country, and second, in Cyprus there is always a small risk that someone in a swimsuit will end up in the background of your wedding photos 😊

Evgenia and Andrey are from Russia, but they met in Cyprus, where they both live and work. A match in one of the dating apps led to serious feelings and a beautiful wedding in Rome! Initially, the couple wanted to get married in America, but due to the pandemic and visa issues, that plan didn’t come to fruition. However, as they say, everything happens for the best!

Evgenia and Andrey's Wedding in Rome

Evgenia and Andrey's Wedding in Rome

The couple was ready to settle for getting married at the Russian consulate in Cyprus when Evgenia accidentally found our account on Instagram. At first, she couldn’t believe that a wedding in Rome was so easy and accessible! But after we had a call and chatted, we really liked each other!

The couple was thrilled by our package offer “Official Wedding in Rome”, which saved them from the hassle of paperwork and organization, leaving the bride and groom with only pleasant tasks.

The wedding day should not begin with rush. That’s why the most important day in Evgenia and Andrey’s life began leisurely and very Italian-style, with breakfast and a spa massage in a Rome salon. The ceremony was planned for the evening, as it is very hot during the day in July.

For almost two hours, our magical team from WowItaly Weddings worked on the bride’s look. Evgenia chose a very elegant and minimalist look that highlighted her natural beauty. When the bride was almost ready, the photographer entered to capture the final preparations.

Evgenia and Andrey's Wedding in Rome

What is the most exciting moment of the wedding day, besides the ceremony? Of course, the first look of the bride and groom! Andrey was waiting for his beloved on the terrace of a luxurious restaurant with a view of the Colosseum, and he couldn’t hold back his emotions when he finally saw her.

After a short photo session in front of the Colosseum, Evgenia and Andrey got into a car and headed to the official marriage registration ceremony in the picturesque town of Tivoli, near Rome.

There, in the town hall, in a room from the 18th century decorated with ancient frescoes and works of famous artists, the couple was in for a surprise! We organized a live-stream of the ceremony for the couple’s relatives from Russia so they could share this happy moment with them. The couple read their vows to each other, and after signing the official documents, they opened a bottle of prosecco to drink as a married couple.

Evgenia and Andrey's Wedding in Rome

The next part of the wedding day was a photo session in Tivoli, famous for its ancient Roman villas and medieval streets, where every photo looks like a postcard. Later, the newlyweds returned to Rome, where a continuation of the photo session awaited them in the most charming corners of the city.

The wedding day ended with a luxurious dinner for two at a Michelin-starred restaurant on the terrace of the famous Hassler hotel, where Hollywood stars often stay. There, with a view of the Spanish Steps, we left the happy couple to enjoy delicious food, wine, and each other’s company.
But the story doesn’t end there! On their first anniversary, Evgenia and Andrey returned to Rome to thank the Eternal City (and us!) for that unforgettable day filled with joyful excitement, smiles, and, of course, love.

Wedding of Anna and Vitaly. Italian love vacation

Anna and Vitaliy's Wedding. Italian Holidays of Love

Our acquaintance with Anna and Vitaliy started with a call: “Can you organize an official wedding in Italy in one month? If yes, we are your clients!”

This request was initially surprising, as it typically takes a month to get a family status certificate (Nulla Osta, which allows for an official marriage in Italy)…

But who doesn’t take risks, doesn’t drink champagne! And our couple was from Abrau-Durso😀. Two weeks later, we had the necessary document for the wedding, and the newlyweds had tickets to Rome.

Anna and Vitaliy's Wedding in Rome and Tivoli

Why the rush? This wasn’t the bride and groom’s whim. The reason was more than justified: Anna and Vitaliy’s families (and Vitaliy himself) are sailors. Late November is the most convenient time for those whose work is related to seafaring to gather together. The families were to celebrate this joyous event in the lives of their beloved children in one of the most romantic cities in the world, a city whose name already contains love (ROMA – AMORe)😍.

Rome… The city of the sun, the city of legend, the city of art, where every street and every stone is soaked in history. A city where the main values remain family and the joy of each day. It’s that same mysterious and enchanting tourist destination, the dolce vita…

Dolce vita was given to themselves and their parents by Anna and Vitaliy. Five days of Italian holidays, immersing themselves in the culture, history, cuisine, and atmosphere of the country. And on the second-to-last day – a true celebration of love, for which they came to Italy.

The morning of November 18 began with a delicious breakfast and the work of our magical stylist Ruslana Redzhi to create a delicate and sensual look for Anna. Just look at these shots, in which Princess Anna – the bride looked like someone of royal blood on her wedding day.

The meeting of the bride and groom took place under the admiring gazes of parents and close ones. Gentle touches, compliments, and his burning loving eyes…

At 11 a.m., in the registration hall in Tivoli, we were greeted by Signor Giovanni – the most charismatic registrar in Italy. Strict on the outside and incredibly responsive and kind inside😀.

Signor Giovanni always finds the right key to each couple’s heart, brings smiles and tears of joy with his heartfelt words, and even touches the male guests.

That was the case again – the ceremony began with enchanting violin sounds and ended with the clinking of glasses filled with Abrau-Durso champagne and a warm Russo-Italian conversation that we didn’t want to interrupt… But we had to! Because we had a photo session in the atmospheric town of Tivoli and a festive lunch at Emperor Hadrian’s house😋.

A short rest, and then the newlyweds were walking around the Eternal City, where the majestic and ancient Colosseum became the witness to their love. Sincere congratulations from strangers, the love and care of dear people nearby – an incredible day, the atmosphere of which is best conveyed by these photos and videos…

The celebration ended in one of the best restaurants in Rome with a mesmerizing panoramic view, with warm words of advice from the parents, the clinking of glasses, and the chimes of the Roman church bells.

We wish you, dear Anna and Vitaliy, a long and happy married life. Smile, love, be a support and help to each other, just like on this incredible day, November 18, 2019, in Rome!

P.S. Until we meet again in the Eternal City!

Wedding of Alina and Andrey. A magical day full of Felicità

To begin the story of this incredible day, we want to share the impressions of Alina and Andrey. The words that touched our whole team and inspired new creative discoveries. We love our job because it allows us to bring positive emotions and see happy faces every day. Thank you for this opportunity!

Wedding in Rome of Alina and Andrey

Marina, hello)) Now, when the emotions have settled a bit, we want to express our gratitude. It was exactly as we wanted — on one hand, simple, but on the other — fantastic!!!

A wedding in another country is incredibly romantic and beautiful. But in Italy… For me, this is originally a special country (and now even more so). A walk in two cities, one being the Eternal City, and the other reflecting the country’s charm…

Now, looking at the photos and videos, it all seems unreal, but at the same time, you understand: it happened to us! And so, I would like to say to you GRAZIE MILLE!!! It was incredible, amazing, astonishing!!! And all of this — is your achievement. Thank you for what you do, for making reality come true what wasn’t even in the boldest dreams.

Also, we want to thank you for being our family that day. Yes, yes, exactly! As Andrey noted, that day, your team and Alena and Dmitry replaced our family. And not just replaced, but became it! You shared our happiest day, became witnesses of it and, if we may say so, co-participants 😄

Once again, thank you, or Grazie tanto to you, as well as to Signor Giovanni.

See you in Rome, sincerely yours, Alina and Andrey!

Wedding in Rome of Alina and Andrey in Rome and Tivoli

Tivoli Rome

A long time ago, a little girl named Alina found herself in a far, strange, and unfamiliar (in the times of Perestroika) Italy. She was about to live with a host family for six months. It seemed like six months… so long, but time flew by like a Ferrari on Formula-1. And it left the aftertaste of freshly baked chocolate cornettos and other amazing dolce, for which Italy is so famous.

This sweet aftertaste of memories stayed with Alina forever, and when she grew up, she kept her warm affection for Italy and often spent her vacations on the sunny Apennine Peninsula.

When Andrey proposed to Alina, the question of where to have the wedding didn’t arise. Alina dreamed of showing her beloved Italy to her beloved person. Italy, which, like Andrey, captured and forever stole her heart. The girl wanted to unite everything in one day — the happiest day of her life.

And this day came — the calendar showed the magical date 09.09.2019. It began for Alina and Andrey with a walk in the morning sun along the cobbled streets of the Eternal City, congratulations from Italians who were delighted by the young couple, and delicious aromatic coffee.

The backdrop for the photoshoot was the eternal beauty of Rome, literally frozen in stone: sculptures of antiquity, Egyptian obelisks, and squares in the extravagant baroque style, palaces painted with frescoes and inspiring Latin quotes. And of course, the greatest amphitheater in the world, which has seen so much over these nearly 2000 years…

And how to walk on the famous cobblestones of Rome, pose, smile and not get tired? Comfortable shoes (who said brides can’t wear sneakers?) and a light massage from your beloved! 😉

Wedding in Rome of Alina and Andrey

After the morning photoshoot, Alina and Andrey went to Tivoli, where their official wedding ceremony awaited. It was especially pleasant to receive a million compliments from the registrar, Signor Giovanni, and also to hear poems in Italian, specially prepared for the couple!

The tears that appeared in the bride’s eyes from happiness and the special tenderness of the moment confirmed that these words were truly heartfelt…

And then, officially calling each other husband and wife, Alina and Andrey went for a walk around Tivoli. In the narrow medieval streets of the town, among houses in the warmest shades of peach, one can feel the atmosphere of old, good Italy… Receive smiles and congratulations from the locals, dance to the chirping of birds, and remember every detail and contrast of this day…

The dream day ended with a return to Rome, a photoshoot in the rays of the sunset, and a dinner at the restaurant, which Alina and Andrey could enjoy as husband and wife.

Italy, which united the newlyweds’ hearts, became a special country in the history of their relationship. We wish Alina and Andrey that the feeling of happiness, the Italian felicità, never ends for them!

Wedding of Elizabeth and Anatoly. Dolce Vita Forever

From the very beginning, Elizabeth and Anatoly wanted their wedding to take place in the country of art and love, Italy. They even tried to organize their most important day on their own, but faced many problems. It’s amusing, of course, but Italians still think that all Russians are oligarchs! 🙂 For your requests, they will offer the most expensive and luxurious options.Yes, indeed, it requires a special approach, the right words, and preferably in Italian.

The couple also tried to plan their wedding in Italy through a Moscow agency, but they realized that organizing a wedding in Italy directly, without intermediaries, was the most optimal and comfortable option.

Elizabeth and Anatoly arranged a true Roman holiday for themselves, their parents, and close friends. They rented a large apartment with a terrace and panoramic views of the Castel Sant’Angelo and the Vatican, relaxed on the beach near Rome, and even swam in the sea in October! In general, it was a real dolce vita in a family circle before the most important and best day.

Wedding Day

On October 10, 2018, as if on order, it was very sunny and warm, a comfortable +24 degrees. The sound of the bells heralding the departure with the father to the registry office, the anxious anticipation, and the official wedding ceremony in the 18th-century hall. Smiles of friends and tears of happiness from the parents…

Wedding of Elizabeth and Anatoly in Rome and Tivoli

Wedding in Tivoli

Then there was a photo walk for the newlyweds and a mini-excursion for the guests in the small cozy green town of Tivoli. Tivoli is the city of fountains and luxurious imperial villas, a city beautifully located on a hill among olive trees. It is a city that can be clearly seen even from the Pope’s apartments.

There was also a lunch with a view of the waterfalls and the Temple of Sibyl from the 2nd century BC. It was a heartfelt celebration in their new status and a rest before the walk, photoshoot, and the quest-excursion in the Eternal City.

Elizabeth and Anatoly were immediately excited about the idea of organizing an exciting quest in Rome for their guests. While the couple was walking through the city with the photographer, the guests, divided into two teams, solved riddles about Rome, discovered secret places, and learned the history of the city in an unusual, engaging format.

Guests received surprise gifts not only at the end of the quest but also in the panoramic restaurant with a view of the Eternal City. Here, Elizabeth and Anatoly were waiting for them with their first dance as husband and wife, glasses of champagne, and a magnificent dinner with a view of St. Peter’s Basilica and n number of delicious Italian dishes 🙂

Official wedding in Rome

This day was very warm, but not only because of the thermometer readings. It was warm because such loving close people were around, because the bride and groom enjoyed every second with each other and the beauty of the Eternal City. This day, the wedding day of Elizabeth and Anatoly, was full of smiles, lightness, kindness, and sincerity. Here’s what Elizabeth herself writes about this day:

Marina, good morning! We’re finally alone and realized what a miracle has happened to us!

Thank you so much for helping to create such a wonderful celebration. Everything was really perfect, like in fairy tales and dreams: tender and romantic, yet clearly planned.

Please send my big thanks to Inna, Ruslana, Yana – I thought I was such a picky person, but they did everything perfectly. And to the girls who organized the quest – the guests were simply thrilled! This really was a day to remember for a lifetime, and we want to replay it endlessly in our memories❤ thank you for your help, without you, nothing would have worked out.

Thank you so much, Elizabeth and Anatoly, for your trust! May your love grow stronger every day, just like good Italian wine improves with time!

Anna and Evgeny’s Wedding in Rome. When Marriage is Made in Heaven

When marriage is made in heaven, divine forces send a sign. There were many such signs on July 5, 2018 – on the wedding day of Anna and Evgeny in Rome.

Beautiful, positive, and endlessly in love with each other, these young people decided to tie the knot in Rome. And the Eternal City blessed them with happiness.

It sent an air kiss – sunny weather and clear skies.

Sprinkled them with water from the Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona.

Sent white doves (a good sign and a symbol of the Holy Spirit).

And gave its special gift – the shy smiles of nuns hurrying to the holy city-state of Vatican City.

Wedding of Anna and Evgeny in Rome

The official wedding ceremony of Anna and Evgeny took place in an elegant 18th-century hall with antique frescoes. The wedding registrar, Señor Giovanni, not only spoke the required protocol words but also read touching poems in Italian about the value of love.

The witnesses of this important event in the lives of Anna and Evgeny were their closest and dearest people – their mothers, who could not hold back their tears of joy upon seeing their grown and beautiful children. And the locals, meeting the newlyweds on the street, were generous with congratulations – Auguri. After all, for Italians, marriage and family come first, and they sincerely rejoice in others’ happiness.

The photoshoot in the Vatican and on the streets of Rome flew by in a breath, followed by a magnificent festive dinner. It was an incredible day in terms of atmosphere and positive energy!

But things could have turned out differently. Initially, Anna and Evgeny planned an official wedding in Greece or Cyprus, and a wedding in Italy seemed like an unattainable dream to them.

Here’s what Anna and Evgeny themselves told us: “We considered all options for a wedding abroad. The package offers for Greece were attractive because of the price, but in reality, they were incomplete, and we had to “top up” the required services. For example, the wedding photoshoot was not included, or if it was, it was only for one hour, which of course is not enough for a wedding… We decided to check the cost of a wedding in Italy just in case, and how lucky we were, we found WowItaly Weddings! In your package, all the basic services were included. And the amount we spent on our wedding in Italy turned out to be within what we had budgeted for.”

But the advantages of Italy as a “wedding” country don’t end there. The couple managed to plan a trip for themselves and their parents to combine the wedding with a vacation in Italy. For their parents, Anna and Evgeny chose a beach holiday in Sabaudia. It’s only an hour and a half by train from Rome, and the vibe is completely different – white stone houses, the purest water, and delicious Italian food. As for themselves, the newlyweds organized a true honeymoon journey across Italy by car: exploring the nature reserves of the Apulia region, enjoying the luxury of Lake Garda and Lake Como, and soaking in the majestic beauty of Milan and Venice.

At the end of their Italian holidays, we asked them: “Which city did you like the most in the end?” And our Anna, like her namesake Princess Anna from “Roman Holiday,” replied: “Rome, and only Rome…” By the way, Anna bears a certain resemblance to Audrey Hepburn, who played the princess in the legendary film!

Anna and Alexander's Wedding. Italian Classic

Better than any advertisement – your reviews. Better than any proof of quality work – clients who come back to us again and again! ❤️

On September 5, 2017, we organized an official wedding in Italy for Yulia and Vitaly. And six months later, Yulia’s brother Alexander came to us with a request to organize a special day in Rome for him and his fiancée Anna.

The couple planned a true Italian holiday: they escaped to a romantic fairy tale just two weeks before the wedding. They visited Milan, Venice, Verona, rested, tanned, and, happy, arrived in Rome. It was here that they were awaited by a special day – a wedding for two amidst the richness of architecture and incredible history, set against picturesque streets and masterpieces of the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

On May 18, 2018, Alexander and Anna woke up early. No, not because they were nervous, but because a sunrise photoshoot, when the main attractions of Rome belong only to you, is real magic!

Walking around the city together, enjoying the gentle rays of the rising sun, receiving congratulations from passersby and smiling, smiling, smiling…

Wedding Photoshoot in Italy

The official marriage registration of Anna and Alexander took place in an 18th-century hall with unique original frescoes and, as is customary, with Italian hospitality.

In Italy, there is no strict schedule; here, no one rushes anyone, and nobody looks over your shoulder – all ceremonies are held without haste and with great tenderness.

For example, the registrar will definitely tell you the history of the city, ask about your mood and feelings, will not forget to give you a warm smile, and will read touching poems about a strong family and love, which will give you goosebumps.

A wedding for two is great because you can arrange a true celebration, with the most picturesque corners of Italy as the backdrop. Anna and Alexander combined great Rome with the small, beautiful town of Tivoli (whose famous villas are protected by UNESCO). The festive dinner for the newlyweds took place in a 300-year-old restaurant, once visited by emperors and kings. Afterward, Anna and Alexander relaxed and enjoyed the sunset at the most beautiful panoramic spot in Rome.

Italians said WoW because…

Alexander and Anna even managed to touch the seemingly very strict Señor Giovanni! They prepared unique souvenirs with the emblem of the 2018 World Cup, which was hosted by Russia, and treated him to exotic drinks – Baikal soda and Tarkhuna.

This time, we raised our glasses to the happy couple not only with traditional Italian prosecco but also with a drink strange to Italians, but very delicious, originating from the USSR.

It was also incredibly touching to receive fruit bouquets for our charming bride Anna and the wedding organizer Marina. Such a warm and delicious greeting came from Alexander’s sister Yulia and her husband Vitaly, whose wedding we celebrated in Rome on September 5, 2017.

Dear Anna and Alexander, we wholeheartedly congratulate you and wish that your love grows stronger every day, just like good Italian wine that only gets better with each passing year!
