In a world with so much glitter and noisy décor, true luxury isn’t gold and jewels. It’s the emotions that can’t be faked and the genuine feelings lived in every glance. It’s laughter over a candlelit dinner, hands intertwined while dancing beneath the stars, and the memories that stay with you forever.

Lake Como knows how to make you fall in love. In its blue mirror, mountains and sunsets are reflected — and in the heart, the most touching stories. One of them is the story of Aaron and Katerina, a couple who brought together the groom’s Irish roots, the bride’s Russian soul, and a shared love for Italy in one celebration.

Villa Bonomi, where time stands still

The venue for their celebration was Villa Bonomi — one of the most elegant villas in the world. Tucked among green hills with panoramic lake views, it unites architectural grandeur, the beauty of Italian gardens, and absolute privacy.

There’s no cold marble or cumbersome opulence here. Instead — the warm aesthetic of an Italian home, hand-painted furniture, details thought through to perfection, and a garden that is a work of art in itself. Panoramic terraces open onto the lake’s azure surface, and harmony and calm can be felt in every corner of the villa.

This is a place where nature and design merge into a single canvas, and every minute becomes part of a story you’ll want to tell again and again.

A love story worthy of the big screen

Their path began in London, at the legendary The Ned, where jazz and cocktails set the scene for their first meeting. The pandemic only strengthened their bond: “spy” meetings through Hyde Park, baking together, Zoom quizzes, and endless conversations about everything.

They discovered new countries together, but Italy always lived in their hearts — a place they wanted to return to again and again. The proposal came in Tokyo, in a secluded room of a restaurant in Ginza: glasses of champagne, soft light, gifts from the chef, and a moment that had everything — love, excitement, and a hush as if the whole world had disappeared. From that day, they both knew their “Si” would be heard on the shores of Lake Como.

Four days filled with emotion

Day 1: Welcome Dinner

An evening on the terrace of Villa Bonomi at sunset. Italian wine, dishes with nods to Russian traditions in a contemporary interpretation, heartfelt toasts, and those first minutes when everyone realizes something special is beginning.

Day 2: The dream wedding

The gardens of Villa Bonomi turned into a living Monet painting: gentle pastel tones, watercolor lightness, the couple’s monogram at the ceremony area and even on the ice cubes at the aperitivo, playful caricatures for guests, the sound of saxophone, an elegant dinner in the glow of glass and candles, and dancing to live music until the fireworks.

Day 3: Pizza Party by the pool

A DJ, cocktails, laughter, and swims in warm water. The carefree atmosphere of Italian dolce vita.

Day 4: Breakfast and ciao-ciao!

A warm morning, fresh pastries, hugs, and the bride’s tears — she didn’t want the magic to end.

For those who dream

A wedding in Italy isn’t a date on a calendar — it’s a journey you live through together. The story of Aaron and Katerina is proof that you can unite different cultures, beloved traditions, and stylish aesthetics to give yourselves and your guests four days that will stay in your hearts forever.

«Guys, I will write a proper thank you once we regain a bit of normality, but just wanted to say massive thank you. This is something out of this world, and everyone, literally everyone said that the wedding team has totally outdone themselves. You are simply amazing, and made this day incredible!» — a note from the bride, Katerina.

Why a Wedding in Italy Will Be Remembered for a Lifetime: The Story of Anastasiia and Pablo from Lake Como

Wedding date: May 5, 2025

Venue: Lake Como, Italy

Format: Intimate church wedding for six

Photographer: Vika Vasilenko

Stylist: Lida

Event planner: @wowitaly_events

A place where words become eternal

At the heart of this day was the church wedding — an Orthodox crowning. Not just a beautiful ceremony, but a conscious, deeply spiritual choice. She is Orthodox, with a fine sense of aesthetics and meaning, and works as a wedding stylist herself. He is Catholic, raised in another tradition, but for her and for their future family he chose to take the path of an Orthodox crowning. There was nothing formal about this decision. It was an act of respect, love, and maturity that cannot be faked.

An ancient church on the shore of Lake Como welcomed them with soft morning light and silence. The peal of bells, the flicker of candles, the whisper of prayers, the looks of their nearest and dearest. Vows spoken unhurriedly, softly, yet with complete conviction. This moment wasn’t just part of a script. It was the very “yes” that held everything.

When professionals trust

Organizing a wedding when you’re inside the wedding industry yourself is especially challenging. Anastasia works as a stylist and knows where there’s sincerity and where it’s just a picture. That’s why we value it particularly when such couples trust us. For us, it’s a sign of special responsibility and recognition.

A day with nothing superfluous

On Como they got exactly what they dreamed of: a calm, luminous, and very personal day. There were no unnecessary decorations, loud effects, or manufactured emotions. Only the two of them, their closest friends, their faith, and a moment that will stay with them forever.

After the crowning — a quiet stroll along the lake, reflections in the water, a gentle breeze from the surface, and the feeling that time had slowed. At the table, just six people — only genuine words were spoken. And it was all harmonious, like a beautiful melody without a single false note.

Bride’s voice

“Exactly a month has passed since our wedding… For the first few days we floated on clouds of happiness. In short — it was unforgettable. In a bit more detail — we are endlessly grateful for this day, for the atmosphere you helped create, for your care, attention, and support at every step. WOWITALY team — you are true magicians! From the bottom of our hearts we wish you prosperity in the work you love, inspiring couples, heartfelt weddings, good weather and, of course, a little more Prosecco and sunshine. Thank you for everything ❤️”

Why choose a church wedding in Italy

  • Spiritual depth. A church wedding in an ancient church is not only a rite, but a moment when you feel a connection to the tradition and history that has united hearts for centuries.
  • An atmosphere you can’t replicate. The peal of bells, the scent of incense, flickering candles, soft light through narrow windows — all of this creates a mood you cannot reproduce in a restaurant hall.
  • The power of the moment. In Italy everything moves more slowly. No one rushes you, and you live through every word, every glance, every touch.
  • The symbolism of place — Lake Como, ancient towns, and majestic churches — a backdrop that becomes part of your story.
  • Intimacy and closeness — the chamber format of a crowning lets you make this day truly yours, without extra eyes or outside noise.
  • Where the bells ring and every “yes” sounds quieter yet stronger than any words. We will create a day for you in which nothing is accidental. Only you, faith, and a moment that will remain forever.

A Small Wedding in the Eternal City: How Krina and Yuri Said “I Do” on Capitol Hill

    Wedding date: May 17, 2025

    Venue: Rome, Italy

Format: A small wedding in a big city

    Photographer: Irina Morina

    Stylist: Tania Nitsak

    Flowers & décor: Kseniafioriroma

    Event planner: @wowitaly_events

“I wanted the day to be about us. For everything — from the bouquet color to the music — to tell our story.”

Official ceremony on the Capitoline Hill

Rome. A city where every stone holds history and sunsets wash the rooftops in warm gold. It was here that Krina and Yuriy decided to say “yes” to each other — officially, beautifully, and with that sense of taste you find only in Italy.

Both are aesthetes, inspired by art, architecture, and beauty in the details. Their wedding was conceived as a reflection of that taste: deep green and beige accents, an atmosphere without excessive pomp yet full of style and harmony.

“At that moment we realized we wanted an official ceremony. So that the passport would say: ‘Rome.’ It’s part of our story, forever.”

    A day to remember forever

We arranged an official wedding for the couple on the Capitoline Hill — a place you can’t confuse with any other. This is where Rome began, the most important square in imperial Rome, and where Michelangelo worked in the Renaissance. Everything — from filing the documents to signing them — we handled remotely so the couple could simply enjoy the moment.

The majestic Sala Rossa, with gilding, velvet, and Renaissance frescoes, became the backdrop for their vows. Afterwards — photos on the panoramic terrace with views of the Forum and Rome’s domes, and an aperitivo with friends.

    Morning

In Krina’s historic room, the aroma of coffee and gentle anticipation filled the air. Getting ready felt calm, almost homelike: makeup, outfit details, bouquet. In the next room, Yuriy adjusted his tie, peeking in now and then to share a secret smile with the bride.

    The road to the Capitoline

The couple drove through Rome’s narrow streets in a vintage car, soaking up congratulations from Romans and tourists.

    Ceremony

In the Sala Rossa everything was intimate and elegant: vows, signatures, the registrar’s jokes, and that very moment when you can read in the couple’s eyes, “We did it in Rome!”

Congratulations from friends and lots of hugs

After the ceremony — an aperitivo with friends on a panoramic terrace. Laughter, lightness, and frames in which Rome becomes the third participant in the story.

    Aperitivo and dinner

In Rome’s green heart, guests enjoyed an Italian dinner: pasta with oysters, fresh antipasti, wine from family wineries. The table décor continued the wedding theme — green, beige, artichokes, and pearls.

    Weather with character

The forecast promised sun all day, but the sky decided to add a bit of romance. The rain appeared three times, briefly — to bless the couple with a long and happy life together.

Why a wedding in Italy is your best choice

    • No routine — instead of familiar banquet halls and predictable routes, you’re in a city that inspires from the very first step.
    • Living culture — a morning cappuccino at a café overlooking the square, the chime of bells, evening jazz on the street — all of it becomes part of your wedding day.
    • A cuisine you can never get enough of — fresh ingredients, family recipes, and a presentation that delights as much as the taste.
    • Harmony in the details — architecture, colors, music, and mood merge into a coherent atmosphere where every detail makes you happy.
    • Legal significance — you return home not just with beautiful memories, but with an officially recognized marriage concluded in the heart of Europe.

    Wedding of Victorin and Valeria

    Wedding date: May 5, 2025

    Venue: Lake Como, Italy

Format: Elopement — just the two of you, just love

    Photographer: Ksenia

    Stylist: Anastasia

    Event planner: @wowitaly_events

“You turned a storm into fireworks, and our day into a film we want to rewatch again and again.”

The wedding of Viktorin and Valeria: When love is louder than the weather forecast

The wedding morning began with rain. Fine drops slid down the windows, the sky over the lake was covered with clouds, and there was something special in the air. For Valeria and Viktorin, this wasn’t a reason to worry — on the contrary, a sign that everything was going just as it should. They weren’t waiting for perfect weather. They were waiting for this day. The very one when you just want to be together — without scripts or expectations, without a crowd or formalities.

Lake Como became the backdrop for their story. Laughter, vows on the water, a gentle breeze, the boat’s spray, Prosecco in hand, and the sun that finally peeked through the clouds. Nature didn’t get in the way. It played along, breathed with them in the same rhythm, and amplified every feeling.

There wasn’t a single accidental detail. Everything was honest and very personal. They chose to be together — they chose feeling over format. And in that choice, there was everything. This day will stay with them not only in frames, but in memory — as a story impossible to forget. And we simply helped it happen.

    Later, Valeria would write:

“Even if it rained — the day was amazing. You did the impossible: turned bad weather into magic, and every moment into something eternal that still gives us goosebumps. We didn’t have a minute to catch our breath, and it was the best thing that could have happened ❤️.”

Minimum words, maximum feelings. Just you and Lake Como.

Do you also want to forget the format and simply be together? We know how to make it beautiful.
