Sean was planning his first trip to Italy with Julia when he decided that this would also be the trip where he would ask her to marry him. He did not want to plan just one moment. He wanted to create a full day together, while Julia simply thought they were enjoying another day of their Italian vacation.

Sean found WOWITALY and contacted our team before the trip. We started building the itinerary together. We planned the route, the timing and each part of the day so that Julia would not suspect what was coming. Sean knew where they needed to be and when, while our team coordinated everything behind the scenes.

When they arrived in Italy, Sean and Julia started following the itinerary we had prepared. They spent the day together, explored Lake Como and moved from one experience to the next. We stayed in contact with Sean throughout the trip, checked that everything was going according to plan and prepared the next steps.

A private boat tour was supposed to become one of the main parts of the day. Then it started to rain. The boat could not leave and the original plan had to change. But we had already discussed backup options with Sean. Instead of stopping the day, we adjusted the schedule and continued.

The rain changed the itinerary, but it did not change Sean’s plan to propose.

Sean and Julia continued their day until the moment came when they could finally be alone. Sean asked Julia to marry him, and what could have felt like a problem became part of the story they would remember from their first trip to Italy.

The private boat experience was not lost either. We moved it to the following day. Sean and Julia returned to the lake, boarded their private boat and completed the experience that had originally been planned for their proposal day.

After the proposal, Sean shared his experience with us. Planning such an important day during his first trip to Italy had initially made him anxious, but having a clear itinerary and regular contact with our team allowed him to enjoy the trip without worrying about what came next.

Even when the rain changed the original plan and the private boat tour had to be cancelled, we stayed in touch, adjusted the itinerary and rescheduled the boat for the following day.

Jared had been thinking about this for months. He lives in Wisconsin and had never been to Italy before. But he knew something important about Kamal — for years, Kamal had been saving photos of Villa Monastero on Pinterest. That balcony above Lake Como appeared again and again in his saved collections. Jared saw it. He remembered it. And he made a decision.

He found WOWITALY online and reached out to our team well in advance of the trip. He explained the idea clearly. Kamal needed to believe this was simply a professional photo session at Villa Monastero. Nothing unusual. Just a beautiful day in Italy, their very first time in the country. Our photographer Viktoria was briefed on every detail. The bouquet arrived on the boat before they did. The lakeside loggia was reserved exclusively for them. Everything was ready. Kamal suspected nothing.

They walked through the villa together, laughed, posed for photos, took in the views. Viktoria moved around them naturally, capturing the light, the water, the moment. And then they reached the balcony. That balcony. The one Kamal had saved hundreds of times without ever imagining he would actually stand on it. Jared turned toward him, took his hands, and got down on one knee. Kamal looked at him and understood immediately. The tears came before the words finished. The answer came before the question ended.

After the proposal, Jared sent us a message.
