Some weddings you attend and remember as a beautiful day. Some you attend and remember as the best party you have ever been to. And then there are the rare ones where, somewhere between the ceremony and the dinner and the dancing that nobody wanted to stop, you find yourself thinking that you would give a great deal to live this particular evening one more time. Everyone at Casale del Gallo on August 26th had that thought. Tatiana and Eduard gave their closest people a weekend they will be talking about for years.
The Place
There is a road outside Rome that leads away from the city into a quieter version of Italy, the one that tourists rarely find, where the landscape opens slowly into hills and cypress trees and old stone that has been standing long enough to stop caring about impressing anyone. Casale del Gallo sits somewhere along that road, behind gates that do not announce themselves, in gardens that feel as though they have always been there and always will be. The first time you walk through and see the terraces and the light and the particular quality of silence that the property carries even when it is full of people, you understand immediately why a couple choosing between a hundred possible venues in Italy would stop looking the moment they found this one.
The Weekend
Tatiana and Eduard came to Italy not just for a wedding day but for a proper stretch of time together with the people they love most, and Casale del Gallo made that possible in the way that only a private villa can. Guests arrived, settled in, found their rhythm. Mornings were slow and generous. Afternoons belonged to whoever wanted them.
And then the evening of the 26th arrived and everything that had been building across the weekend finally gathered itself into the ceremony in the garden, with rose petals on the stone and warm light across the faces of everyone standing there, and the moment the vows were spoken the whole garden exhaled at once in the way that only happens when something feels completely and undeniably right. Irina Morina had been moving through the day so quietly that half the guests forgot she was there, which is precisely how she got the photographs she got. Ilya Oshepkov filmed it all with the patience of someone who understands that the best moments are rarely the ones anyone planned. The WOWITALY team held the entire structure of the day together from the inside, invisibly, so that Tatiana and Eduard never had to think about a single logistical thing from the moment they woke up until the music finally stopped.
What They Said Afterwards
A few days after returning home, Tatiana wrote to the team.
“This was the best event of our lives and of everyone we love. You organized not just a wedding — it was a small life we would want to live again. Everything was like a film, but we were not following a script. We were simply feeling it, living it. You took all the worry onto yourselves.”
She wrote about Marina carefully scattering rose petals across the ceremony space. About Svetlana quietly watching the train of her dress. About the feeling — inside the villa, surrounded by the team — of being home.
“If it is possible to fall in love with people in a single day, this was that case.”
On Working With WOWITALY
Svetlana and Marina ran this project from the first phone call to the last glass of wine, and what they brought to it was not just organizational skill but genuine attentiveness to the people involved, which is a different thing entirely and considerably harder to teach. The full team was on site throughout the day, holding timings and coordinating vendors and managing the hundred small decisions that a celebration of this scale produces, all of it done in the background while Tatiana and Eduard simply lived their wedding.
Vera and Anya worked with every woman in the party, and there is a particular detail from that day that the team still talks about: Tatiana’s sister Nina, who had never had her makeup done professionally except at her own wedding, looked at herself in the mirror and genuinely could not stop smiling. Vera had listened carefully to everything Tatiana wanted for her bridal look and then delivered it exactly, which sounds simple until you understand how rarely it actually happens. Giulio and the Casale del Gallo team did what great venue teams do, which is create the sensation, in a foreign country on a significant day, that you are somehow entirely at home.
Casale del Gallo hosts very few weddings each year.
