Wedding of Natalia and Ilya. Happiness for Three

Surprisingly, many couples choose Cyprus for their wedding celebration, but our heroes, Natalia and Ilya, chose Rome for their magical day. The couple has been living and working in Cyprus for 4 years, but for their official wedding, they only considered Italy. “Rome, Rome, and only Rome,” as Princess Anna from Roman Holiday once said, and our heroes decided the same.

Natalia and Ilya began preparing for their wedding well in advance, which ensured that everything went smoothly in a light, comfortable, and very relaxed atmosphere… So much so that on September 10, 2018, in Rome, Ilya and Natalia were already three ♥♥♥, not counting close friends 🙂

Wedding Day

It was a very emotional and heartfelt day. The first meeting of the bride and groom took place at none other than St. Peter’s Square. In the embrace of the Christian faith and Bernini’s colonnade. Anticipation, tears of joy, and the beloved shoulder nearby. This is love!..

Then followed a sunny walk around the city, goofing around on bicycles, and the greeting of doves (did you know that in Christianity, doves are the symbol of the Holy Spirit?). Yes, on that day, Natalia and Ilya received a blessing from St. Peter’s Cathedral, support from the Castle of the Holy Angel, splashes of happiness from the Fountain of the Four Rivers, and the cozy atmospheric streets of Rome winked at them while passersby shouted “Auguri!”.

The official wedding ceremony took place in an 18th-century hall with original frescoes and artworks. Natalia and Ilya exchanged touching vows and promises of love and fidelity to each other for life… it was heartwarming and tear-jerking!

Rice for good luck, champagne, hugs and kisses from friends, smiles, and congratulations from Italians. Quiet gatherings at the villa and the meeting of the most romantic sunset in the heart of the city that gave the world European civilization…
